Tired of online

If this is the wrong forum to post this in, my apologies.

I think I'm done with online. I'm not really that good to begin with but I try to get better. What bothers me is all of the shit talking when someone beats you. I swear half of the online community -if not more- is utter garbage. One guy with a ridiculous win/loss ratio did nothing but spam the same mover over and over again, just to brag about winning. Another was super good then proceeded to call me a "noob" just for not keeping up. Look, I'm sorry. I can't dedicate my life to MK. I have a job and a family. I'm just astonished at the immaturity online. MK9 on the PC was bad enough. This is even worse. It's infuriating. That's all. Now I feel better.
 
Yes, that's my experience as well. I probably won't play online again, and I guess I won't be able to get those Revenant skins.

All games are starting to have crappy online, but since this is a fighting game, but honestly if you're letting them win by spamming its your fault. Fighting games are all about punishing questionable tactics, and if you can't punish a spammer, you should practice more. Though I agree on you on the spamming part. They even teabag mid match ffs.
 
Reason #673 to not listen to or interact with people online, spammers are stupid predictable, you should be able to beat them 90+ percent of the time. The ones you cant? Spend a few min in practice and figure it out, look it up online.
 
online players are really immature. they will send "you suck" messages if they win. I almost have given up on online. but I don't play lots of online games anyway. I usually stick to single player.
 
Same here, and i don't get it it's so immature and stupid.
One guy added me so we can play MP, and he was winning. Like 8 vs. 3 or 4.

When he started typing: "Please no main! Use someone else!" I said ok, so i did. I kicked his ass, then he started screaming how i shouldn't use X-Ray moves, and i was like why? He said "Well i don't use them". I said ok, and i won again. Then he started typing crap to me, offending me and removed me from his friends list. I was shocked! I mean overall he WAS wining but still he wasn't satisfied, i guess he wanted 10 vs. 0 flawless victories win??

Idk. i have few more examples it just seems that most of the ppl playing online need some kind of help, that's my experience.



And yeah i am really not that great in MKX, i mean i am ok i guess. But i have less than 100 hours played! I really don't have much time for it.
I am SICK and TIRED of Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Ermac and Raiden spammers, seriously it's TOO MUCH!
 
Yeah the online sucks.
The lag doesn't help either.

I hate when just because I beat people in KOTH they stop giving respect points.
Like how salty can you be? I remember the last time a played and beat a really sorry Scorpion, he then went on to call me a "b**** ass n*gga" for the next ten minutes and giving me 0s after every match. I couldn't even mute the guy since I was playing lol.
 
I just plug my earpiece in, with the mic turned off, and the earpiece NOT in my ear to mute the mic. I only want to use the mic when playing against people I know anyway.

Most of the time when I play, my TV is on mute and my music is on fleek :cool:

I've become numb to the online d#%kheads. I'm completely oblivious to their antics. If you're getting aggravated by their taunts, more than likely you are too tense. Just relax and focus on the match. Light some incense, play some Marvin Gaye. :)
 
I get pretty brutal when I play online too much. I've got so many pictures of family members hanging in random places to cover up the holes in the walls :laugh:
 
I also don't understand ppl getting mad, frustrated and angry when playing online. I am not really a MP gamer, but seriously i just don't get how can anyone get so angry over losing a match.
 
Ranked matches are salt inducing, even after winning I'm still mad. It's those funktards who T-bag as if they could beat you in a FT5 in player matches. Even when the match was close they still mash Down on the pad as if they bodied you or something.. Get that shit out of here. :mad:

Yea, I put in Music too. It's a hit and miss because it'll get me in the zone to play, but I find myself thinking about the lyrics instead of the game :laugh:
 
I haven't experienced any tea-bagging or trashtalking at all. Reason I don't play online is cause of the lag. Had to deal with it in MK9, having it again in MKX is such a letdown.

Try listening to Def Leppard. That got me a pretty decent winning streak in KOTH.

The best way I handle spammers is using Ethereal Mileena's teleporting (cause spammers don't normally use throws), Lui Kang's counter (and spam it against them), and Kano's high/low counter (same as Lui Kang).
