the Trailer had Horrible Music, what would you replace it with

At the end of the day, you can't please everyone. Good/bad is subjective, which is why the music portion is always a hit or miss.
 
Wiz Khalifa isn't really my cup of tea, but the music DID fit with the video, especially considering that he created the song FOR the video.

The main thing that I took away from the CGI trailer was "OH, SHIT!!! MORTAL KOMBAT X!!! MY BODY IS READY!!!"
 
Call of Duty had Hip Hop/Rap on there trailer. I guess people weren't complaining because it was Slim Shady and since he's a white rapper and all

I don't mind Varg's music, although I'm not a big fan. It's pretty tough for me to support a guy with his ideologies though.

COD and MK are completely different games. Obviously, Eminem fits more with COD than Wiz Khalifa does with MK. I'm pretty sure people would complain of Tiny Tim started playing in the trailer, so get off your high horse. Race is not a factor unless you make it one. I would complain of Eminem was in an MK trailer because he's shit. Go back to tumblr, social justice retard. You're pathetic.
 
It's always easy to tell who has heard a Rap/Hip Hop song in there life or not. Because the opinions are always the same ignorant thing. Lol. To say Eminem sucks is like saying John Lennon sucks. You don't gotta like him but we all know he's a legend for the type of music he made.

If that's the case METAL sucks it's just screaming and shit (the metal I listen to isn't that)
 
Everyone who complained so hard about the music may as well be autists to me, it wasn't in game music it was music on a trailer aka a COMMERCIAL, i don't know if people realize this but marketing is part of that and the main demographic companies are trying to sell games to are teenagers and young adults, so they used music popular with them which happens to be Wiz Khalifa, one of the biggest artists of that demographic. I'm not a fan of his either but i understand why they would use in an ADVERTISEMENT as opposed to some shit nobody cares about.
 
I do listen to rap sometimes; I just don't like Eminem. His voice grates on my ears.

I like Aesop Rock, Wu Tang Clan, Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, and some UK rappers like Akala and Lowkey. Don't make assumptions.

I don't think any genre sucks, really. I listen to anything. There's just some artists I don't like. Preference, have you heard of the word?

Well if you go back a few pages and see I start off with "I listen to many genres" so yes smart :reddy:, I know all about this word "preference" you speak of...

This thread is all over a sneak peak trailer... not a trailer, not the GAMEPLAY!..an announcement trailer ...Wow

Funny thing, that original post was NOT intended to you it just kind of seemed that because I forgot to quote 'Trash' and it was after your post.

you are 1000% right he is a troll lol. I got that vibe the first 4-6post I seen by him. He also thinks it's Metal over everything (which is fine to think) But it's not actually true lol..
 
Ah, right. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

And, yeah, while I'm a big fan of metal music and thrash metal, too, I'm not quite sure that thrash metal would go with the trailer at all. If you want to show progression, then including a 25 year old song in the first trailer may not be the way to go. Kind of implies that the game is living in the past, I guess.
 
Tbh, idk why people are still harping over this as we have a new trailer now, with more info coming in the future including better trailers; plus its not like Wiz is gonna be making the soundtrack for the game lol.
