The Official "What Players Message You After you Beat them" thread

I find 90% of the online community has no respect for themselves, the game, or people they're playing. I can't even finish a ranked match now without people dashboarding as soon as you hit them with a big combo or they're about to lose. Too many people talk trash who definately shouldn't, and then back out and send you hate mail. I get alot of "ice clone spammer", but if you're jumping into them that's my fault? If someone gives me a good fight I'll send a gg but don't normally get them in return.

Sometimes it just hurts being a sub zero player... No love... No love...
 
So, I was playing yesterday... and the lag was literally unbearable. I actually played against this good player in a tag team mode where he used Raiden and Kung Lao and lost 2-1 in very closes matches. I actually left after second match because the lag was really getting frustating, but it's okay though, I accepted my defeats and send him a pm: "sorry, lag, but you're a fantastic player, better than me". And the dude called me a scrub because I left after the second match o.O I just don't get it, whenever I play against people I can tell they're getting lag issues when they don't pull of simple combos, I couldn't even do my simplest combos right, but anyway, it's how it is I guess :/
 
I have applied a simple solution to hate mail on my PS3.

Step 1. Go to Settings.
Step 2. Go to System Settings.
Step 3. Go to Message Notifications, Click it
Step 4. Press X to Display it or Not to Display it

Voila!!!
No more pop-ups

If the message is from somebody that's not on my friends list, it gets deleted.
 
I beat a kid named: oOBelowZerooO on XBOX LIVE. He sent me several messages, one telling me he was '13 years old and gonna kick your ass!" and another one that said: "I will double flawless you offline fagit!" After I responded to him with a simple "U mad bro?" he replied with: "I will tell everyoneon MKU that you lost and you are a cry baby!" LOL.... where do these children come from?
I mean, really?
Of course, I checked MKU, and of course, no such peep came from this kid.
OH, and did I forget to tell you that he badmouthed my friend j0sh99, who happens to be a legit 12 year old tournament player? LOL. Yeah. He said he could beat j0sh99 and me in a tag match. HALARIOUS.
He picked Kitana, Kung Lao and other God Tier characters against my Johnny Cage.
He got rolled. 6 games in a row. Then he rage quit. LOL.
Kids these days.
 
Lately I've been doing something that is making my mk online experience more enjoyable.

What I do is if there feels like even the slightest chance I think they are going to send me hate mail I will black list them before they get the chance then like a couple matches later take them off my black list. That way if they typed up some big message full of hate not only do I avoid reading it but at the same time they get owned because they can't channel their hate when it tells them that message cannot be sent.

1.) black list doesn't get full can save them for the real douches
2.) the rager gets owned, if he wasn't a rager he won't be hurt because he prolly wasn't gonna send a message anyway.
3.) you save time not having to respond to trash.
4.) you'll be overall happier unless you get some sick amusement from rage.
 
Well, I have a heartwarming story, and a typical story of douchebaggery.

First, the story of epic rage: This girl (i assume it was a female, the avatar and name suggested so) picked only Mileena and was able to fool me with primitive down+4's and up+4's, to a repeated combo. It went like this for four matches. I was getting irritated, so I picked the only guy who can pull off black and red leather with a mask of bandages, and found that her defence absolutely crumbled against an Ermac. After much sweet, sweet revenge, she finally picked Jade, and I SZ. She was going down like a sweet muffin, when......

"Your opponent has left the game."

Ha. Ha. HAHAHAHAHHAHA. Sorry. Is it wrong to derive pleasure from seeing a spammer brought down low and rage quit? Wait, I haven't told you the best part. She sent me some message about me being a coward for blocking and punishing. I shot an insult back at her, after this story.

Met this guy, 1400/400 approx. had a superb Cage. had some very good fights, and although I lost them all, I could see that this was a good player. I said that he was the best Cage that I'd ever played and I'd had some good games. He said, thanks, that meant a lot to him, and gg'd me back.

Nice guy.

On another topic, my 12 yr old brother went pwning in the beginner room, with suprisingly good 6-hit kenshi juggles and combos. I've never been so proud.
 
i play most of the time whit ermac and i now hes moves ar anoying but i like hi alot so i found a dude whit 100 wins and 65 loses i whas like this gona be a spammer and he he spammed me whit kung lau raiden freddy and smoke and sub zero whit kung he dit onley spins and had toss whit raiden teleport a kick dont now what kick and superman whit freddy he dit the freddy fingers and som other things and subzero he whas like ice clone and smoke whas onley teleport and smoke clowd thats alll and noting els so i send him a message and i said can u do som combos i hate spamming he sended me back u ***** dont now how to play this game u onley do random shit (i dit advanced combos of 20% and 35% and som basis combos) and u always block (but he whas the on whit the block strings) and that combo breakers ar so for little *****es (yea i dit combo breakers sowhat??)
so what u guys think am i the on that dont no how to play mk9 or is he the *****?
 
Yeah, Ermac is the ultimate Mileena's D4 antidote. Since he's insanely good mid-range, her D4 is completely useless against his telekinesis. His force push can counter-attack her teleport kick and roll can be severely punished by his slam.

Lol! Ikr.. I have to change alot of Go to combos when facing ermac. I have to make sure the Ball hits and Constantly Pressure him. Ermacs are fun to fight though :)
 
I love posting on this thread now because every day I seem to get new hatemail!!!

Yesterday I played someone named CSZ Earl, I was messing around with some Rain online and he picked Kano. Of course he did those no skill pop up combos that can be repeated like 4 times and he spammed knives and balls. He beat me. So I get pissed and used my actual main, Sub-Zero and absolutuely kicked his ass to the point where my 53% X-Ray combo didnt get a chance to finish.

Him:My controller ****ed up.
Me:Excuses.
Him:See the way I was jumpin up its my controller btw kanos not even my main ur ****in trash.
Me: IM trash? Coming from the kid who rage quit?

Oh the MK community.
 
^^ Thats a legitimate excuse imo.

Because my ***** ass controller does that.
I would never send a message about it after a loss, but its very frustrating to lose because of hardware trouble.

I had a match a few weeks ago where my xbox controller died when the guy had less than 10% hp and I had about 85% lol then I had to scramble for my charger cable and lost the round but I still won the match when I got myself sorted out :P
 
Had a Scrub Scorpion tell me after I beat him with Baraka "Nice gay shit there".

Baraka getting hate mail. Now i've heard everything!

I know but to blame a whole match on your controller? Its not like it was a close march either. Almost double flawlessed him.
 
Lol get a load of me today.

I beat this guy spamming ermac's 3,1,2 loop and when i confirmed that he blocked, I proceeded to start spaming his Forward+4.

so... I beat the guy twice, and he sends me a message "FCKN SPAMMER"

I send him back a message "Try blocking next time"

he sent me one back, "I did block but I was dazed the whole time."

"No you weren't, accept my invite I will educate you"

"lol ok"

20 minutes later.

"Now remember after learning what I taught you, Don't ever blame your loss on spam, it's up to you to stop it. If you don't mix up your defense, you're going to experience ALOT of the same move/tricks over and over. And it's all your fault, not your opponents when you lose to it."

5 seconds later.

friend invite/ I transformed a scrub into a newbie ready to learn.

Look out Critical changing scrubs into tournament players... one man at a time.

I could've told the guy "Learn2Play Scrub LOLZ"

But i used my nice side and transformed his anger into readiness to learn.
 
I'm getting tired of ppl callin me "tylerlantern's" dick sucker. I did a 22 hit combo with kitana today and they guy performed a quitality then sent me a message saying that. later, I fought another guy and corner raped him with kitana. he performed a quitality as well and sent me a message saying " another lantern fanboy". this Is mad annoying. yes I've seen his videos and SOME of his combos are impressive but I've seen other players I fight do better and I DEFINITELY do better kitana combos than he does. and I've fought him...HE ISNT THAT GREAT! Just because you can do combos doesn't mean your a good fighter.

on another note, when someone performs a quitality on me, I usually send them a message 1st saying "LMAO PEACE" Jus to add insult to injury. and when people send me a massive calling me a spammer, fag, no life, virgin, etc, I usually jusy reply with "you done crying?" or "cool story bro. what chapter do you stfu in?".
