Arkham city was a great game. What do you mean? I know the whole clayface thing was stupid but didn't ruin the whole story overall.

Arkham City was the best Batman game I've played so far. I like to play the story mode over and over again like it's a movie. Arkham city was based off the comics. In the movie, they try to make everything all "real". Bane looked huge and strong in Arkham City. In the movie, Bane looks like just a regular man with a mask. Bane is suppose to look like someone who could break the Bat. I thought the Clayface thing was awesome in the game.

Bane looked stupid in Arkham Asylum. Too Big.

Bane in DKR looks kinda generic aside from the thing on his face,
but hey its at least better than the arkham asylum look.

He's the best when he wears the full mask in the comics.

The Bane from Batman Forever looks better than the one in The Dark Knight Rises, more comic book based.

you mean Batman and Robin.

he looked ok I guess, but he was absolutley pointless in that movie and just made screaming noises all the time like an idiot. He sucked.

The DKR version will be the best version of Bane as far as how he is supposed to act.

Yeah, he should have talked more. Anyways, I hope the Bane in The Dark Knight Rises will break Batman one way or another.

Yeah, nolan makes a good job, but that is enought realistic batman,,,i wanna the new batman movies (in the future) more like arkham city games direction,,,with more fantasy, but the same time, realistic stuff

I didn't like bane in the arkham games either. His design was just too big and too much with the giant device on his back. Not to mention he wasn't very smart. The Bane I like in the comics is a genius and a badass even without the venom. Nolan at least got the essence of the character down although I can understand people not liking his different, smaller design. I think he's pretty menacing looking though in my opinion. Def looks like he can take batman at least.

Good luck with that. Where I am, all of the IMAX tickets sold out the first day they were on sale.

Edit: just read that there was an advanced screening for and it got a standing ovation along with critics raving about it. The partial reviews I read also said that it has a story told better then the dark knight and tom hardy was great as bane. One even that if it doesn't get best picture, no comic book movie ever will.

That's saying a lot considering its coming from critics. My expectations are really high now. Hope I'm not disappointed.

The Dark Knight rises might get a nom for Best Picture, but if it actually wins, I'd be seriously surprised

We all know the Best Picture winner is going to be some period drama or something

A local theater here is doing a promotion starting Thursday evening where you can watch Begins, The Dark Knight and (at midnight) The Dark Knight Rises. Would be fun if I had the stamina for 7 hours of movie-watching and didn't have to work.

lol i could watch all 3 batman movies. how about all 3 lord of the rings movies. no pausing and no bathroom breaks.
oh and if you make it through that then watch all the bond movies with no pausing and no bathroom breaks.

It's not that hard. I usually play games for hours, like 6-7 minimum and I didn't go, although I felt like I needed to. The mind over matter trick really works wonder.

Back on topic, I'm really looking forward to watching this movie when it comes out next week. And for those wondering, I heard the chemical that is pumping in Bane is suppose to make him feel no pain, thus act likes a substitut version of steroid chemical Venom.
