[SPOILER] Everything about story mode. Pics, videos, discussion, etc.

He should have probably killed Raiden, and the climax shouldn't have been Cassie taking him down alone - that flies completely in the face of her needing to be any kind of leader. She should have made Kotal see the truth, and her team and Kotal's should have taken Shinnok down together.
I would have preferred that. Frankly, I'm tired of Raiden and want to see Fujin take on his role for at least one game. NRS won't do that, though. Maybe MK11 will have Fujin questioning Raiden's new methods.

OK, so then for my own curiosity's sake, what would you like MK11 to look like? And I mean realistically. If you say "basically Mass Effect"... ;)
I'm bad at these things. Thinking up examples on the fly, I mean. I would just like it to broaden its scope by giving every character on the roster a shining moment and/or a decent amount of development. I would likemore momentous things to happen that add higher stakes (I can't think of a single bad thing that happened to the good guys in MKX - they were always on top).

Designing the chapters and fights in a way to avoid making characters look like jokes would be a fantastic start. I'm not saying they need to give Reptile a chapter, but having him to something that impacts the plot or something nifty that shows his abilities would be great. Like have him stealth into the Special Forces camp to get intel for Kotal. Stuff like that.

You know what would have been good? Cutting to Kotal and his council in Outworld before Jacqui's chapter. We can get more of Reptile, Ermac, Erron, Torr, Ferra and Kotal as they ruminate over their options and explain their motivations more clearly for what they do in the final act. I see no reason why we can't see what other characters are up to outside their chapters.

Why do so many people think we've seen the last of Ferra/Torr?On the contrary, in the aftermath of the civil war, and subsequent purging of the traitors, Outworld needs new j̶o̶b̶b̶e̶r̶s̶ champions now more than ever.

Well, I don't think it's the same because everything in MK is pretty much more serious than it was.

I'll have to agree.

MK was always serious.
I think you are using your opinion and tying it into fact.
You're saying that Ferra/Torr will be in MK11 because 'they are awesome' but Nitara and Drahmin didn't because they 'weren't as awesome'
I'm confused still.

If Ferra/Torr returns in a future game, it would only to be to fill the "big grappler" archetype, because there's absolutely nothing about them that makes them stand out otherwise. They are basically the Sheeva and Baraka of MKX, random jobbers who are just there to have someone to fight in between the important matches.

Even Tanya and Rain have bigger roles in Story Mode than Ferra/Torr. Take that how you will.

The caring relationship between the two of them is what makes the pair stand out. Also, Ferra's adorably hilarious dialogue.

As far as Skarlet goes, she was fan service. She can reappear at some later point but she was only created because they wanted to pacify the people asking for her. Tremor is pretty much the same. A one-off thing to satisfy the people asking for those characters.

And as far as Ferr and Torr go, there's hope for the two of them as there's hope for any of the characters in the MKU. They might not get their "time to shine" in MKX but if we as the fan base properly convey that we like them then NRS would probably listen.

If that's going to increase their popularity enough for their return, then sure... I don't think that'll be the case though, but I'm no precog, so all we can do is wait and see.

Do you seriously find that serious?

So that were Nitara and Drahmin...?

About the 'they are awesome' - Yes it was my opinion.

I never said Nitara and Drahmin aren't, though.

Oh my god you are literally ripping out my brain.
We were talking about MKDA characters being abandoned and you pop up with an MKSF intro screen.
That has absolutely nothing to do with anything we're talking about.
Besides, MKDA and MKSF aren't even in the same category. Ed said he didn't even like the game, and it's a completely different genre than all the real MK games as well. I think it's extremely out of place to throw in an MKSF trailer in a conversation about the ties between characters in MKDA to MKD and Ferra/Torr to MK11.
Characters like Nitara have as much of a chance as Ferra/Torr to return next game.
You can't say that they'll for sure return because you find them awesome, you can just hope they will.
Same as I hope they will too, but I'm sure they won't.
It's all in our opinion. I was just taken out of the fact that you said they would return because you like them so much, lol.
Not trying to attack you, but I want to know exactly how you're making any sense. I'd like you to elaborate clearly, because right now I don't know what I'm reading.
