People might not like to hear this, but I wouldn't be surprised if NRS feel they need to fulfill a diversity quota with Cassie's team. It's also possible they just love Jax and wanted him to have a legacy, which is nicer to believe. Jacqui seems cool so far - if not her character, her very fast-paced gameplay.

I don't think so. She jobs. She saves Kano's life, but that's really the only thing of importance I recall. Still more than a lot of characters do, like Kung Lao and Ermac.

I do believe she has potential if handled right, having not seen the story gameplay, but read the comics, I'm not sure what to think about her as a character just yet.

Her gameplay does seem fun actually and I might end up playing as her a lot, as she is a rushdown character like most of my mains.

About the reason behind her being there, I think it's more likely they just like Jax a lot, so far they've never gone through that path with any character just for the sake of diversity.

I imagine that was a mistake, given that they talk about the Netherrealm being a coming threat.
 
So when was the "Roster leak" wasn't it like in November? They couldn't of added any new characters in that time?
