SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Its probly not I'm just speculating on the idea of it, & about the the new sub zero in game maybe the reason scorpion calls him a murder in game because it has to do with takada ?

Under the risk of suffering fanboy rage, so far I'm not even 0.1% impressed by the comics. It seems like a bunch of random stuff thrown together for the sake of explaining 27581651247124 plot events at the same time. Even the old MK comics (the 90's ones) had more in terms of following a story without too much happening in such small time.
 
Oh I agree, I'm only enthusiastic about the comics because I'm trying to fish for information about the game's plot and playable characters.
As an actual comic on it's own merits, it's very lame and I'm dropping it the second the game releases.

I do not disagree with this. But Ill give it more time to come together.

Agreed 100%.
The only reason that I got the digital comics is so that I don't miss out on this info, once the game comes out and I play through Story Mode.
I'm pretty sure that a lot of this pre-MKX comic stuff won't be in the game, given that Ed Boon probably thinks that it's a lot of information for them to put into MKX story mode.
Once the mandatory reading period is finished for this game, I don't care what comes after in the comics.
I just don't want to be lost in story mode.
 
I played Injustice without reading the comic and things out fine for me. I doubt people will be lost during the story mode in MKX.

I agree. The comic is poorly done save for the drawings. The only purpose it really serves is to give us some untold information leading up to MKX. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with it.

This makes me soooo happy. Not only is Kintaro appearing, but The Shokan aren't just gonna roll over and let Kotal Kahn take the throne.

Maybe Kintaro gets a ton of Shokan killed, so Goro takes him out. That'd be a one badass fight.

This is just my 2 cents on the topic. I think Kano and his Black Dragon kill the majority of the red Dragon but both sides take heavy casualties which may also be the result of Kano's new enhancements! As much as i love Kano, i don't think he is fully capable of destroying an entire clan Solo. Kano to me is more of a sly cunning opportunistic villain who will fight who he wants head on but baits/traps his enemies for the kill.
Once again just my theory!
 
First thing's first: Kintaro is officially the MLK of this Mortal Kombat shit!

Now, about the "Is that Reptile with Kotal Kahn" thing. I'm going to lean towards no because of the color scheme. Reptile has always been the one ninja that is associated with green. The guy besides Kotal Kahn looks to be wearing gray but his head shape and mask design does echo the Saurian style Reptile has stayed true to so it could be Chameleon. I'd really like to see him get some shine in MKX so the character can develop into something more than just a clone of all the other ninjas. I could see him using the moves of the other ninjas that never made it into later games, such as: Sub-Zero's upward freeze, Noob Saibot's hidden claw (the harpoon move borrowed from Scorpion), and Reptile's rolling spikes.
 
Finally got my hands on issue 3... yeah a bit late.

But to be honest guys my impressions about scorpion and raiden "relationship"

Kills him anyway
Raiden: You had one job...

Years later
Raiden: Protect the blade scorpion.
Scorpion: OK. Btw everything is your fault. Bye!
Fox kills everyone with the blade.
Scorpion: It is your fault, Raiden!
Raiden: You had one job. ONE JOB. Protect the friggin blade! One. Small. Blade. Yet some possessed kid, gets easily into your "Vault", takes the blade, kills ENTIRE clan of TRAINED ASSASSINS without ALERTING ANYONE and SOMEHOW manages to tie and hang upside down THE SCORPION. The badass fire ninja, couldn't hear or actually even feel that there was a teenager with forbidden blade walking around and murdering everyone. Couldn't even smell BLOOD! NOT TO MENTION I WARNED you about this! Keep your eyes open! A f^cking demon passed a broken cosmic barrier. Nope. My fault. Everything is my fault. By the gods Scorpion, F^ck you!
Yeah! It is actually my fault for even THINKING, that I could ENTRUST you with ANYTHING AT ALL.

Pretty sure Scorpion had already been trapped in that illusion and hung up before Fox went on his murder spree. The possession gave him a lot more abilities than just carrying a knife around...

I don't know who could be, IMO looks like an individual with human shape (note the belly) with a mask that resemble some kind of reptilian.

Anyway, Reptilians were always a sacred thing on aztec/mayan culture.

But that gray skin...

...the feathered serpent is Quetzalcoatl, and that guy seems to be wearing a mask of the entity, judging by colours and design, just like Kotal is depicted just like Huitzilopochtli.

That individual is a serious mystery.

It could be a completely new character who is from the Saurian race. I'd be surprised if that were the case but would welcome it, as I've always been a huge fan of Reptile and wanted his origins explored, whether a fleshed out story about Zaterra or just more members of his race being revealed to be alive.
 
Didn't the writer already say that the 'Reptile' there is an old favorite? It'll be interesting to see who it turns out to be either way. I'm curious to see if we'll get a Reptile announcement for MKX before we find out who that is in the comic.

As in this character was in a past Mortal Kombat but is in a disguise so that nobody recognizes him?

wonder who it could be. I know. That's Onaga or something...
