Never thought about Lucifer. Well, could be.

But Quan Chi is related to him. I don't think Quan Chi would align with the one he help take down just do take down Shinnok.

I mean, Lucifer would love to be sir of the Netherralm once again, right? That's...a deadly alliance (no irony).

As someone mentioned before, it sounds a lot like the rage thing in MKvsDC. And that just seemed like a cheap way to get people on the same side to fight each other.

I remembed EXACTLY the same thing.

Damn. That was cheap.

What is similar is that this "demon" is moving every character towards a destiny. You see that Raiden's vision with the Kamidogu of Order (famos "it has [already] begun" line) put a common point between everybody.

Well, but I agree with [MENTION=5232]Ricochetmatt[/MENTION], they wouldn't be this dumb to repeat that mess.

- Sub-Zero fighting the tekunin? Maybe Sektor doesn't survive MKX, and Sub-Zero steals the Grandmaster Medallion.

- Kano stabbing Goro in the hand?
 
That's a shokan, but not Goro. I've seen bigger versions, he looks very different from Goro beside being a male shokan.

I'm happy for you and those that have the printed edition which has all 3 comics in 1, and I'm glad I didn't see those other spoilers, but digital comic #3 is still to arrive this Sunday.
 
At this stage, I'm still virtually convinced that the big bad will be Liu Kang in his fire god incarnation. I mean come on, there were at least two MK9 endings that mentioned it. The endings may not be canon but they do give us an idea of events that are or will be canon (eg Noob-Smoke's Deception ending).

As for this 'demon,' I think it could still be prelude to the rise of Kotal Kahn. Kotal appearing in Raiden's visions doesn't necessarily mean he isn't responsible for Fox's brainwashing. And all we know about Kotal so far is that he derives much of his power from blood, so who's to say he isn't also a psychopathic, clan-murdering a-hole who can possess other characters.

Another thing. In this timeline the Kamidogu could be like the palantiri in LOTR (ie because Sauron held one of them it was too dangerous to use any of the others), so the events Raiden is glimpsing could be all connected with the other Kamidogu.

I hate that they gave scirpion back his clan then took it away in the next issue.

I think Scorpion's new fatality should simply be Scorpion saying to his opponent "you are now part of my clan".
Then Scorpion sits back and waits for something horrible to inevitably happen to the opponent.

first off , in the original timeline the kamidugos were all protected & all scattered in diffrent realms. Okay so how did raiden collect some?(I.e scorpions?& his?) &hes also has used the kamidugo of order to better his "vision" when was that? Also when fujin told raiden "at what price" & raiden answers"what price ? Among the humans its considered noble to give blood".. Its sounds like he's really not giving an F anymore. Which makes me wonder could raiden possibly be corrupted by now?

just going off what you started, don't even n\know if itll make sense so bare with me...
Well i like the idea that the Kamidogus are Daggers now instead of Oddly shaped Mystic Relics
As far a Raiden being Corrupted or Dark, i don;t think it is that so much as Raiden probably now realizes he has to do whats necessary to protect Earthrealm...he might feel regret but does it anyway bc its to ensure the safety of the realm. But im sure this is something that will be explained shortly!

Who the hell are the people with the punching bag. It's either relatives of Jax or just completely unrelated characters. Is that guys right arm metal?
