It's not like they'd have to be separate characters, Kuai Liang could be an alt costume of Bi Han like Bi Han was for him last game.

Exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if they do this again.
Hell, I'm worried they'll have a bit too much fun doing something like this some day.

So is Fox dead or not? Scorpion burns/stabs him, he regenerates. Takeda cuts him in half and they burn the bodies? The version I saw was of poor quality so I don't know if I missed something or not.

I guess we're supposed to assume he's dead, but this is MK... he can come back at any given moment.

Well to simplify, I can't wait for the new characters to come into play.
I can only imagine what Chapter 12 will show us. Unless theres information floating around the web about that.....

I think it's three chapters per issue, four issues for arc #1. Arc #2 will probably be going on after the game has been released.

We don't know anything about chapter 12, but they've released synopses for chapters 4-6. I'd post them if I could find them.
 
Loved the chapter! I'm happy with how the story is progressing.
KEY POINTS
- I still hope that forest fox is still in MKX at some capacity, I would love it if he was working for the Netherrealm.
- Scorpion looking for some answers etc.
- Fujin needs to be in MKX.
- Nice Frost/Cassie cameo
- We need to find out what the hell is going down with those shokan, that's something nobody should overlook.
- My hope for Reiko being in just grew... I really like the pairing of him and and Mileena!
- Cyborgs are still roaming the Earth lol :/
- Needless to say it seems that the Daggers are going to have a huge role within the story and game, can't wait to find out more about them.

Just one thing...... (sigh) I don't mean to beat a dead horse but Jax.
Atm he's among the characters I care for the least, I'm so tired of the same old crap with him and I want nothing to do with him.
Personally he is the only character which I truly feel has run it's course.
I don't mind him having a cameo or being an NPC, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.
