So Kung Jin is Gay

This thread has been full of arguments and controversy and homophobic comments against TRMK rules, and it's still open for 12 pages.
Am I missing something here?

Just because someone doesn't like something that's gay doesn't make them a homophobe .we already discussed this earlier

Are you seriously doing this again?
Who ever said anything about not liking something that's gay? Those words were never implied nor were they said, at all.
You do this too much to me.
You bug me intensely with this.

Well you said this thread had homophobic comments and I'm searching for them so I can see what you're talking about .

Alright give me an example of something homophobic that someone posted .it does t even have to be word for word and you don't have to tell me who said it

Hatred and the lack of acceptance towards homosexuality = homophobia.

No, it's not correct in the true sense of the word, unless they are actually scared or have an irrational fear towards homosexuals. However, it is what it represents when used. We've been over this and you know this.

Here's the Google definition of it:

homophobia
ˌhɒməˈfəʊbɪə,ˌhəʊmə-
noun
noun: homophobia
dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people.

And the wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homophobia

"Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). It can be expressed as antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, or hatred, may be based on irrational fear, and is sometimes related to religious beliefs."

So is it hatred when I say I don't want a man who looks like a man but identifies himself as a woman using the same restroom as my little girl

Oh I see , I honestly don't want a man walking into the bathroom with my wife ,mom or little girl just because he identifies himself as a woman.JUST because you identify yourself as a woman but you're a man it doesn't make you gay.

No, they identify as transgender.

However, the question you pose above is still considered homophobic. Just like if I said "I don't want a black guy using the same restroom as me" is racist.

No that's not racist actually ..it depends on why you feel that way. If you don't feel comfortable using the restroom while a black guy is in there because you honestly think he may whoop your ass and steal your iPhone that's being cautious .

Edit: see I can't go around calling people racist every time they do or say something I don't like..

If I base those feelings on the fact he is black, then yeah, it's racist.

As long I judge someone due to prejudice towards someone's skin colour, it's racism.
As long I judge someone due to prejudice towards someone who is LGBT, it's homophobia.

That's the way it is.

I don't think so..

Just because you don't want to be alone in the bathroom with a black guy doesn't make you a racist .lol You could still have black friends and be dating someone black but just not want to be in a bathroom with a strange black guy lol

It's not fair to call that person a racist

It's not fair to call me a homophobe just because I don't want a man with a wig on using the restroom with my little girl.

If that does make me homophobic despite the fact that I have gay friends then fck it .i guess I am and it is what it is!!!

If that was the case, my problem would not be with his skincolour. That he is black has nothing to do with it. It would be the "strange guy" part that would be the problem.

Lol ujustgotcaged keeping it real with the bathroom reference.

I wouldn't care if a trans was in the woman's washroom, so long as she's been transitioning with hormones, surgery, etc. If it's a cross dresser we're talking about, then I agree with caged.

I'm okay with letting this conversation go as long as it's civil.
