So Kung Jin is Gay

You're right, it doesn't. Yet people still question it. :/

If it's been proven that it's natural, where is the uproar from the world about this amazing realisation?

Another question that presents itself is:

If it is natural - Why does homosexuality lead to the extinction of Man?

I wasn't born this way, so why would I accept it as natural? Particularly when our race has always continued through the sexual relations, of a man and a woman. Two members of the same sex cannot naturally pro-create. What would be the point of two separate genders if that was the case?

Sorry if I keep bugging you, IL. I'm not trying to seriously debate right now. Just pondering this subject. I should also mention that I'm not trying to make anyone feel like a failure. God only knows how many mistakes I've made.

Dude... seriously?
Where's your proof of this being the case?

Also, I thought we had come to some sort of understanding earlier, and now you pull this crap?
You should be ashamed of yourself.

There you go again, saying people should be ashamed of themselves simply because they don't agree with you, yet I get an infraction for calling you out on it. "But I thought we had an understanding?" Lol TRMK mods never cease to amaze me...

You got an infraction for insulting him FYI...

All that needs to be said is that there is a biological occurrence or circumstance that makes certain people homosexuals. It's not a choice, and people shouldn't be persecuted for it. You can't force a man to screw another woman for the sake of procreation when he is not attracted to her, especially when said attraction is vital for having sex unless one of you can provide me with a method of penetrating someone with a soft penis.

Homosexual characters have a history of being poorly executed in the media due to a variety of factors, but mostly centred around the fact that people writing the characters do not fully understand how one would actually behave. A good example in the past is Catherine Zeta Jones's character in The Haunting remake; she essentially announced she was homo/bisexual within moments, and a lot of media productions in the 90's followed a similar trend. Recently though, there's sort of been a shift in extremes, as now, it's often tacked onto a character for no other reason but to appease the LGBT community. Not that the community doesn't deserve representation, far from it, but when it's being used as nothing else but a lazy way to identify a character, that's where I take issue.

In Kung Jin's case however, I think it's handled well. It's far from blatant and stereotypical, but it's also an important part of his character; the fact that he doesn't feel the Shaolin/WLS (I forget which now) will accept him for who he is because of his sexual preferences, without making it his sole identity. I think it's a very smart and mature execution that should alienate the least amount of fans as possible. Of course, you're still going to get homophobic bigots, but they'll attack anything slightly against their agenda in their comfort zone. I'm all for it.

I'm certain you'll be a welcomed addition to the forum with posts like these.

Awesome post, and welcome. ^^

Logic tells me two men can't pro-create. This is my understanding, and how my belief is formed.

Also, I thought we had come to some sort of understanding earlier, and now you pull this crap?
You should be ashamed of yourself.

We do have an understanding my friend. Logic is used by many in an effort to understand what they don't.

True, men can't procreate with one another, but that doesn't equal homosexuality being the reason for the extinction of humanity. Even if ALL men and women became homosexual, they can still procreate with one another for the sake of survival. Becoming gay doesn't mean you are inable to father a child. It doesn't mean your semen becomes useless, or for lesbian women, that you can't make eggs or get pregnant.

No what I'm saying is, if every man walking earth was homosexual, we wouldn't naturally be able to continue our species.

I'll use the definitions I've only heard in my life. Along with honesty, reason and logic.

Gay: The first definition: - of a person, especially a man, a homosexual.

- light-hearted and carefree.

I don't really believe in that one, because this implies we're all happy.

Definitions for Happy - feeling or showing pleasure or contentment, fortunate and convenient.

These are the actual definitions of 'happy'. It mentions nothing about homosexuality, so then it must be an issue on sex.

Additional definitions for homosexual - Sexually attracted to people of one's own sex. - adjective. (this is the first understanding I ever had of the word, for what it's worth)

- a person who is sexually attracted to people of their own sex. - noun

Now back to my point. If the same sex, no matter if Male or Female, tried to continue our species, they would fail by natural means. This is my understanding, and there has yet to be anyone that has proven to me otherwise.

Logic dictated meaning.

Reason cleared up confusion.

Honesty is a light of sincerity.

Did this help you?

Why does it even matter? No super villain has a Gay Ray pointed at the earth, there's no danger of extinction by homosexuality now and there never will be.

lol, that is indeed true. XD
And as said, even if everyone on the planet were homosexual, we would still be able to procreate.

Not at all. Nothing you said suggests that gay men can't procreate with a woman. They may use artificial means to do so, taking the semen from a man and plant it in a woman to impregnate her. Actually, that happens alot.

So the natural means then, with our natural sexual organs, that exist for a purpose. That's not possible with a mans behind however. So it takes a man and a women to pro-create. You see?

I won't try anymore to share that belief. If you are happy, that's cool.

I have nothing against you. You left me no choice but to go there. You're a kind person, but I believe you are in denial. I hope you have a wonderful day and don't take this personally. I hope we can become good friends in future and talk about Mortal Kombat.

When you've become more open-minded and acceptive, we can talk about that. Until then, I'm not interested.
