Scorpion isn't a villain.
He's a neutral character who only cares about his own selfish vengeance, and he'll join whichever side it takes for him to accomplish that.
He sided with Raiden in MK9 too because Raiden promised to help revive the Shirai Ryu clan if he didn't kill Sub-Zero.
Not likely, IMO.
Sub-Zero and Scorpion are the 2 most famous characters of MK, which is probably why NRS would do that.
Kind of feels weird to have one and not the other.

There can be no Scorpion without Sub-Zero so called it, although I really wish it isn't true. Martian Manhunter is a given and a must-have and Power Girl is boring but looking at Batgirl (and Zod) certainly a possibility. Red Hood is alright though there are a dozen characters I'd pick first.
Out of these 8 I'd only buy Martian Manhunter so blergh.

I'm pretty happy with this line-up. Martian Manhunter - most wanted. Red Hood - such an awesome character. Power Girl - if they can make Batgirl and from the looks of the video make her pretty cool then why not Power Girl? And I love Sub-Zero, so if Scorpion is in and they wanted to have another kharacter then I'm really glad it's him. I'll probably be getting all of these. Or a second season pass if they make one.
I am a bit disappointed no Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Starfire, or Black Canary, but if wave 2 goes well maybe they'll make a wave 3

Ed Boon is full of crap 99.9% of the time, however Killer Frost is the "ice" character (Even though Sub-Zero could still have a different move-set). I just wonder if there is anything else S.z. could stand for?
