Most of the people who don't like it are basing it right off of Chris's game (from what I have seen in reviews).

Wow, so ONE scenario can make an entire game suck? Yeah, okay, morons.

I can understand they might not like how Chris's game has strayed further away from the usual feel of RE, but to completely rule against the game, fck that, I bet these bishes will play the full game and hop on it's dick.
 
If you can't accept change, just give up on the series and don't buy the game. Complaining isn't going to change things, I mean yea we're seeing more action than horror in the more recent RE games but they're still fun and that's all that really matters to me.

RE6 (Gameplay) was RE1

RE5 (Gameplay was RE2.

Once you hit RE6 it has RE1 gameplay.

Chris' scenario doesn't "not feel like RE"

It feels plenty like RE4-RE5.


NO games these days scare me, so boo hoo? Dead space doesn't scare me, Silent hill doesn't scare me.

I was only scared of the first few RE's because I dunno....

MAYBE I WAS like NINE YEARS OLD WHEN IT CAME OUT?
 
Im torn by this to be honest, my general feelings towards the game are that, by judging by the demo it is going to suck. Movement felt to awakward, use of darkness to add atmosphere fails to achieve anything other than make invisible enemies. It feels like a 3rd person COD.

Im gonna try the full game and I am bashing it a little but i also get the feeling people have hyped this up so much in their minds that they are unwilling to admit that their shit stinks.

Different people different things but honestly, jagain judging by the demo this game feels a chore to play through. Im not asking for a revival of the old style of play at all, I loved Res 4 and 5. Theres something that doesnt sit well with me, It feels so flimsy that I feel I could break the game just by playing.

Looking at the new chris gameplay of RE6, Im not really impressed either, IDK, it just doesnt look very interesting at all to me. Very bland looking and boring really. Has nothing to do with nostalgia or not being scary like some people are pointing their fingers at others to judge why they dont like it, I really dont even hold the series that important, And I actually liked the action of RE5. Its just the chris gameplay doent look that interesting to me.
Is that so hard to accept? Leon's part looks good enough though.


Maybe I'm wrong, I'll just have to wait to play it. Which I will do after the release anyway, looks like a rent for sure.

Tried the demo. Couldn't even bother to get it done. The game is just rubbish. I really didn't like the movements nor the direction of it. Graphically, it is more "miss" than "hit". Fanboys are gonna disagree (hope they do that in a polite way) but the game is the worst in the series and is by far one of the biggest let down this year.
 
I liked the movement fine if anything I gained more options. If you don't like the feel I dunno what to tell you I think you just haven't played enough to get accustomed to it.
I felt like a retard the first couple hours in the demo as well.

But I like the controls even more than any previous game once I got use to it.


Quick draw shot is also awesome.


Dunno, I fail to see what people hate about it.

It's all either "not scary" "not like the old ones"


I you just find it plain uninteresting well... Not much you can do about that. I personally think people might find chris' scenario not
Interesting because it has a FPS feel to it because there isn't any real plot to his demo.

were basing the conversation in here base on the majority of Comments we've seen. Were obviously not conversing about people who just find it uninteresting.

So yes the finger is pointed correctly at the majority of comments I've read. There is obviously always exceptions to opinion. Sometimes you can't explain why you don't like something in great detail. I dont like SSFIV. Because it's style just isn't my cup of tea.

I hate CoD and FPS games in general so why dont I get that huge vibe when I play his scenario?
 
Comparing RE to Cod doesn't seem like the right way to go either. I kinda want to play to play the demo on fall break now
 
Yeah because the only similarities I see are "army like dudes, shooting armed bad guys"

Everything else isn't really that similar. Just maybe the atmosphere if anything.

Combat system isn't even close to the same. You can run like a cheetah while shooting in CoD but not in RE.
 
So what your saying is because you dont get the first person vibe no one else will? You cant bash on people or give them reasons to like something they dont. The media here is games, its all based on opinion. I think you can argue the point when somethings broken, but to me this doesnt seem broken it just seems a poor effort to get sales.

I said I don't get the vibe so it just means I can't relate.

I love the movement in the game. There's so many options from rolling, ducking, jumping back, crawling, sliding, and more. It gives your character a lot more options and makes it more realistic.

Hype has NOTHING to do with it. I was WAY hyped for RE5 and I hate that game when it came to campaign.
