his silhouette makes me think his primary will focus on the arabic thingy. but he also looks light. could be a combination? Rain can be seen in Sindel's ending, the third slide is 99% him imo. I'm hoping for a good alt too, the ninja retro ones are good but I'd prefer the retro ones MKT style. hopefully we get those too later on :D

But serously, I'm more curious who's the hidden DLC character... could be Tanya. If so I'm more hype for her than Rain.

I was already excited, but his silhouette makes me very interested as well. Smaller and more agile?? Looking forward to seeing his costumes and play style.

LOL okay I use a wide variety of characters online because only using one character because you are a fan of them is a good way to get beat

Also where is this "Huge Rain Fanbase" everyone is talking about? The 20 people on this site? the 30 on another MK fan site? Certainly not the other hundreds of thousands of MK players

I don't think there is a "Huge Rain Fanbase" like other characters because he never had the proper attencion of Midway like Scorpion and Sub but there is a "Huge Ninja Fanbase" and this put him in a very high position.

Grow up. He got banned because he 'doesn't take orders from mods' and we are 'not to tell him what to do'. He was simply asked to report problem threads instead of taking it into his own hands so WE can take care of it. Your attitude really sucks as of late and all your accusations have been way off. Chill out.

Dude, I hate Rain as much as you do, but you're wrong. There are WAY too many Rain lovers out there. If there weren't, the less-moderated previous incarnation of this site wouldn't have been littered with epic posts by me talking about people sleeping with Rain plushies at night. Making Rain available as DLC is DEFINITELY the right business decision for NRS, as much as it makes my skin crawl.

BTW, Gobblesnoofers, I've said it once, and I'll say it again... your username makes me LMAO. I still have no idea why.

Since I didn't see one up I decided to make one. As of right now this is merely speculation seeing as how we've seen nothing of Rain but a silhouette.

So fire away with ideas and such.

By the looks of the silhouette he seems to have a head band boots and things on his shoulders. (Like the things on subs arms.)

I already claimed the official Rain thread when he does come out for combos, strategies and such, but this does make for good speculation. Hoping he keeps is Armageddon look sans the cape.
 
Ohh I just came up with a cool fatality idea for Rain. First he "melts" into a puddle of water at around sweep distance. Then the water puddle moves towards the opponent and snakes up the opponent's body and into their mouth. After a couple of seconds, Rain starts going from water to human and the opponent's body is expanding until they explode and does a cool pose at the end. Kind of like Shang Tsung's MK2 fatality

Assuming you know everyone's skill level is good way to look like a dumbass.

You're getting to be quite the annoyance. All you do is shoot down other people's ideas, mock them, and make crap assumptions with nothing to back them up.

Why don't you take that stick out your ass and use it to support your idiotic claims.
