So.. I was thinking one of the only reasons I liked rain to begin with was his around the world roundhouse kick. But with the direction they are going with... that would be slightly cheesey for him to still have that move.

But I would still like to see some variation of that. Perhaps have him roundhouse them into a puddle and they fall down from high above behind you. and the scaling would make it where they start off flying at you from behind lower and lower to the ground. It's essentially a pop up attack it just puts them behind you. It'd be just his own little pop attack that can change positioning in your favor.
 
So, I have an idea for an X-Ray attack for Rain. Here's how it goes: Rain shocks the opponent with lighting and follows up with his super roundhouse kick. As the opponent gets to the other side of the screen, Rain does a punch right in the face.

Ill post the same thing I posted in the other thread. They are wasting their time to please a VERY small audience. Rain fans are in the minority and they just wasted a bunch of time, money and resources on him. He will most likely be the least downloaded and least played character in the game and they will realize they made a mistake. Oh well, ill just take great pleasure in beating Rain players online because I know they are only playing as him because they are "fans" lol.

He got banned for voicing his opinion, and I got negative 5 rep for saying he shouldn't have been banned. Hopefully he isn't permanently banned though. But I guess anyone with power will get hungry at times.

I have to respectively disagree with you sir. I HATED Johnny Cage before this game came out, I almost refused to play with him because I thought he sucked so bad in previous games, but I love him so much in this reboot, he has become my fav. I encourage you to hold your judgment until you see gameplay of him. You know this game has changed your opinion on someone.

Pretty amazing how articles and statements are readily available when it comes to WB potentially making more $$$. I'd like a few articles from some of the media giants out there to rip apart MK as being half broken(Online is still a joke).

Speak for yourself, not for the rest of us who wants Rain as a DLC. If you don't like him then stop posting your whiny complaints on every single thread about him. Nobody cares what you think about Rain.

Im hoping they completely revamped him and yes im excited it makes the game feel that much more complete in my opinion

This game changed my opinion on Scorpion and Ermac. Used to love em. Now they're ok to me. It expanded my love for Mileena and got me WAY into Stryker

What are you basing this post on? Rain has a huge fanbase to begin with and has REALLY big potential at being a good fighter, so I don't see any reason for you to make such grand assumptions on how well he'll be received.

I am so ready for Rain! He is going to komplete my four kharacters. Right now it's JC, Smoke, Jax and Cyrax. Cyrax might be kicked for Rain. Maybe Kenshi too. AHHHHH

Is that to say I only play Sub Zero because I'm a fan? Yours' is a lame rant. I will enjoy beating you online because you only use your fav fighter because you're a fan.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! Skarlet comes on June 21st so I guess that means we'll get some summer Rain, at the end of August :D btw judging by the head I think Rain's primary will be the arabic kinda thing. I hope it looks great :D can't wait to see his alt too. as for the unknown character, I hope it's someone new and as awesome as Skarlet, post mk3 mk lacks good characters. I loved how Skarlet is supposed to be Shao Kahn's last resort. would enjoy her more than Mileena in the challenger tower.
