Rain's inflation fatality looks goofy as hell, but I guess we need something like that in this game.

kitana's kiss and kabal's head assplosion arent in there, so give it to rain I guess. But doesnt Reptile already have a simular fatality to rain's?


oh well, as long as the second fatality doesnt involve him doing a lame quick beheading like quan chi's, then I'll be fine
 
I dont care if he fatality looks similar to a fatality other character has, if it looks great then awesome.
Besides Rain's water blade fatality looks way better than Quan Chi's and is related to Rain, because of the water, but Quan Chi's is out of place, random sword from nowhere... lame...

The only thing I dont like is his intro lol, I was expecting something like this:
They show the stage and starts to rain in the spot the fighter should be and then Rain materializes there.
 
Love his costume. And the visual updates to his moves.

Only 3 things I don't like:

The inflation fatality is dumb.

And his second fatality looks boring too. Breaks your knees with a bubble and decapitates you. I guess my 3rd thing is part of the 2nd, as a water blade, to me, is stupid. Like a poor man's Sub-Zero. So I guess he's still a joke character.

All that said, those are minor complaints. As I rarely do Fatalities anyway.

I doubt "a bit angsty" would justify Rain turning to the enemies' side. Trust me, dude, he's at least arrogant if not an arrogant prick, the bio basically said it itself.

Also, I bet my left cheek that Ermac is Rain's father, and that his ending will reveal this, if only because the first line in the bio.
 
If anyone thinks Rain is gay because he wears purple, or because he's named Rain, after a prince song, or because he shoots "bubbles", then

Also, if he's gay what's the problem? does it make him less awesome? less interesting?....No.
 
I like the change in his story line. He now has more of a mystique to him than before and although previous posts are now questioning his sexuality?? I feel he's a much better rendition of the previous versions.

yeah tons have manhood issues and think a color is what makes you have balls in your crotch (not referring to those who simply joked about the purple thing). who cares though? he's the best Rain ever
