PS3/X360 versions - do they even exist?!

They should suspend support for the PC Port if that's what it takes to get MKX on PS3 and 360, and recontinue it afterwards. The PC port is a lost cause anyway.

That's a pretty harsh thing to say too, you know?
PC owners get screwed over ALL THE TIME when it comes to fighting games. lol

Hey, new here.
Ed responded to a tweet. The tweet went along like "forgive me for getting mad because the game are delayed again."
He responded with "All is 4given. You shouldnt have to wait."
This means two things. 1: The last-gen games will be released soon, maybe on the 4th as stated before or 2: He saying that WB shouldnt have mentioned Last gen titles.
 
It's the latter. He's acknowledging it's taking longer than it should, that they perhaps shouldn't have announced them so early and mainly that he'd love to have the game playable for everyone at the same time and it sucks that's not the case. Not sure if anyone read what I posted on the last page, but it ain't coming sooner than July/August. The downscaling part is relatively easy since it's still the same engine as MK9, though heavily modified, and they just need to set the shadows/particles/lighting to low/off, compress the secondary textures to low/medium res and main ones to medium, simplify some less important objects/models, compress the audio slightly and lock the resolution to 720p. The different architecture will be worse. Also the netcode. I believe there is smaller sub-team of a few people at HVS working on these ports with the main team giving a hand when they're not updating/fixing the PC version. I think once Tanya is out things will improve. I believe they want to have the PS3/X360 versions ready by Gamescom to make a formal announcement.
 
At this stage I can't see how it's not going to get cancelled. Still not enough of a reason to drop $500 plus with something that's not even backwards compatible for my daughter's games and the whole family games.

Maybe in a year or so for Christmas when the library has expanded and yeah if it gets cancelled I guess that's how long it will be till I play it. Sure, there may still be a possibility that it will be released but at this stage I'm prepared for the worst and will just have to move on till the time is right...
 
I've been a long time fan of MK since the beginning. My favs being II, Trilogy (PS1),9 and Shaolin Monks if that counts...I've been drooling over the new one for months now....I do not have it because i can't afford a next gen console or new T.V. for said console.. So i was very happy to hear that MKX would be comming out on all platforms...Then it came out in April only for PS4/Xbone... Ok no big deal i can wait a few months but now... I dunno... now we have to wait again...and i feel like we're getting screwed just because we didn't get current gen consoles. I understand they're working on the port but still I'm getting tired of waiting....just to hear we have to wait more...plus no word from NR or WB....This is some Bulls*it and i want some answers! I am sick of waiting in the dark only to hear more bad news!....Not to mention if MK9 was'nt a hit on PS3 and 360 they're would be no MKX. *cough MK vs Dc cough* I really feel like im getting screwed as a fan...If they want to fix it make the game 40 bucks or give us the dlc for free. I refuse to pay full price for a twice delayed game.

At least they didn't cancel it and never speak about it again. You're being unreasonable. They could've not had a last gen port like Arkham Knight, so be thankful.
 
I don't wanna sound like the thought police, but these comments of "upgrade, screw next gen, waste of time and resources" need to stop. At this point, it's all about morality, and it's immoral to expect people who can't afford certain luxuries to fork over a high amount of money.

I work a pretty decent job and have a little guy to take care of. For me to spend the money a next gen system costs would be pretty selfish on my part. There is no reason why people with a PS3 or 360 can't enjoy a game that was already announced it was going to be ported to those systems.
