Nope. Nov 27th is the only date by ?? I've been given. I know it's the EU date, because I checked with a different source that confirmed it. Haven't been told anything new since.
As for why it's taking so long and the delay is so big... It went something like this... As I have heard...
It was supposed to come out around the same time.
NRS finished late, because they were adding stuff/polishing the game.
Gave it later than expected to HVS.
PC version was more important than last-gen.
HVS put aside last-gen and focused on PC.
Last-gen delayed till August.
PC version came out unplayable with bugs.
HVS did what they could in the short time they had.
WB/NRS were supposed to check and approve it.
WB pressured HVS into releasing it broken not to risk uproar cased by a delay.
HVS focused for several weeks on PC to make it playable.
Work on last-gen is so-so, almost none.
A lot of internal pressure and heat exchanged between HVS/NRS and mainly WB.
HVS frustrated and pissed. Stops communicating to focus even more on PC.
Communication forwarded to WB.
WB doesn't comment, because that's just how they roll and don't know really what to say.
Last-gen supposed to come out late August with announcement at Gamescom.
Overwhelming success of current-gen, demand and still lacking PC version change plans.
Last-gen couldn't be ready for Gamescom anyway, despite being somewhat presentable.
More DLC is decided upon, eventually becoming Kombat Pack 2.
KP2 work commences (although not completely from scratch).
After the wait, pressure and no information, a formal statement regarding last-gen is made. Delay #2.
Decided last-gen will come out in Q3/Q4.
HVS given needed time to finish polishing PC version and start focusing on last-gen.
PC finally on par with current-gen. More focus shifted towards last-gen.
November selected as target date.
Kombat Pack 2 hopefully out by then.
A great portion of game OK.
Only remaining work potentially integrating new DLC/bug fixing.
Decision to make new statement.
Probably Komplete Edition for last-gen. Probably full price ($50-$60 range; ie. cheaper than all DLC for current-gen)
Probably current-gen/PC Komplete Edition later.
NRS working on more DLC. Some DLC ready.
