PS3 European users, please BOYCOTT the DLC.

I had hoped it was a pricing error like Beyond Good and Evil. Now, had nobody complained and we all just grit our teeth and bought it, would they have rectified the price? Impossible to say now, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did not. This has been a great thread, and a great response to the pricing, no matter how many people's /helpful/ advice was "get over it". Well done everyone!

I wonder what possible technical difficulties they are having tho haha xD laziness perhaps?

oh well. 4euros for the pack i'll gladly spend!!

Agreed. I'm delighted to see so many people sank their teeth into this like a pitbull and refused to let go.
Together we stand strong, that's a lesson I've learned. Now I hope WB has too.

We've shown we don't like being treated like a sack o' sh!t. And now we can reap the benefits.

Actually Xbox EU price can be even lower. You can find 4200 MSP code for ~35€ which makes 400 MSP less than 3,5€.

Regarding XBOX Live not free, You can get 1 year subscription code for the ca. same price which is less than 3€/month.

No, no I will not. You can not open a topic on a forum and then decide who can and can not speak on it. I am giving my opinion on the matter; just because you don't like said opinion does not make me not contributing. And just because you do not know what is going on behind the scenes does not make it a lack of respect; almost no business will explain their business model to people they are charging for their services.


ALSO! To the poster who neg repped me. I personally don't care about rep, I truely don't. But being neg-repped in a thread like this, taking the less popular stance, and then getting told to "Deal with it" is both Hi-larious and hypocritical, to say the least XD

I got neg-repped too and I'm on the same side as most here, I don't care about rep.

Sorry but your point been what? Deal with it and have to pay an unfair amount?
We were all right to complain and voice our opinions on the matter and low and behold look what happens, price gets reduced.
Again hard to say if no one had complained would the price have stayed the same

I replied to SONY EU Blog and emailed WB.

I have seen many threads like this before, but never one that seems to have worked. I says seems because the official line appears to be it was a mistake. I think it likely that the negative publicity and threat of huge sales drops are an even more likely reason, though that is purely my opinion.

My email to WB was rather strong, but professional and included a list of actions I was going to take, such as bloggs, websites, forums, boycotting etc etc and I hope it went some small way to getting the right result, just like the en-masse protest seems to have done.

Well done to the OP as I would not necessarily have been aware that we were being screwed over and by how much. I don't know how to do rep, I just read, post and move on...but if you are into that I will find out!
