Supes and Flash got increased damage scaling finally!!! Lex's back dash is still shit , but I'm excited about his lance damage being increased. The notes may not seem like too much , but I believe the game will be changed quite drastically. I can already predict Black Adam and Superman players having a fit about their OP characters actually having competition.

Other changes that are welcome in my book are Batmans bat recharge taking longer , meter burn interactables taking 2 bars of meter , and I hope the mystery skin is cool. I'm also looking forward to seeing if any new skin packs will be released.

Mixed feelings on this.

Cons:

-Does MB B3/F3 really need that damage change? I think it was just fine how it was. If you transitioned someone, it would lead to around 30%. I think it's just going to result in people mindlessly spending their meter on it, like how typical Grundy players waste most of their meter on failed swamp hand attempts.

-Arena changes are okay overall. A change to the drones on metropolis but no watchtower? wtf?

-Batman's J2 not even touched.

-No faster Super for The Flash.

-Auto-correct on Hawkgirl's MB mace. As if it wasn't good enough already.

-Joker's buffs very minimal and won't help him much.

-No adjustments to Lobo's Super hitbox. It's garbage. But since you mainly have to do it in a combo for it to hit, at least we can get more damage from the nuclear shells.

-No nerf on Martian Manhunter's downward phase assault. I was playing this guy online and I'd even block it as a cross-up and I still couldn't punish it. Even with a D1.

-Shazam got more damage, but more scaling on his trait. That will probably cancel out the damage he does receive.

Pros:

+Superman got nerfed.

+Black Adam got nerfed HARD.

+Aquaman trait got nerfed.

+Lobo good buffs.

+Ares good buffs.

+Better pressure potential with Green Arrow.

+Instant rematch option for online and offline matches.

+Wall Bounce interactble combos now consistent regardless of stance.

+Salty ass and tier whoring Rico Suave quitting Injustice.
 
Why are people supporting the massive Black Adam nerfs? Sure he should have gotten a minor slap, but EIGHT god damned nerfs is a bit much. Even if you completely despise the character, you shouldn't be supporting such kneejerk reactions.

I mean really the only thing that needed to be nerfed was his footdive.
Everything else does seem unnecessary.
 
Well let's see...

Spoiler:
Reduced duration of Orbs of Seth (Character Power) to 4.5 seconds and increased the cool down to 9 seconds (up from 7 seconds)

Boot Stomp now has a block advantage of -21 (down from -15)

Lightning Strike now only hits grounded opponents when performed outside of a combo.

The Meter Burn version of the Lightning Strike is now -1 (down from +8)

The Meter Burn version of Black Magic no longer conflicts with hard attack bounce/juggle limiting

Adjusted his back dash to cover less distance and to recover in 31 frames (up from 26) and front dash to 18 frames (up from 16)

Slightly increased the amount of damage scaling on combos.

Fixed an issue where the Orbs of Seth were labeled UNBLOCKABLE during Practice mode when they hit Mid.

Fixed an issue where Black Adam could stack two sets of the Orbs of Seth.

Improved Hit Advantage on the Eye Of Horus combo (Back + Medium, Hard, Up, Medium)

-His trait never really bothered me much.

-Boot stomp getting a nerf is good. Especially for online. Playing online makes moves like 5-6 frames safer. Now it might actually be punishable online.

-MB Lightning Strike getting an advantage nerf is good. It already does good chip damage and pushes them back. I always hated how it could hit airborne opponents. That was so retarded.

-Not sure what it means by Black Magic conflics with B3/F3. Does that mean that off of Black Magic it was hard to land a B3/F3? If they made it better, I'm okay with that.

-Dash nerfs are great. BA players can divekick, then you block it, then they backdash to safety. Get in and get out for free. That's lame. Now he can be punished, hopefully.

-Increased damage scaling... I don't fully agree. His damage output isn't crazy.

-Practice Mode change seems pointless.

-Stacking two sets of trait is OP and a well-deserved nerf.

-Improved hit advantage on B23U2 is a minor but accepted change.

If I had to choose between these changes to Black Adam or getting the Ares buffs, I'd definitely go with this. By far.

Yes, he really did need those. He's still going to be a viable character. Black Adam players will just have to play with more thought now. Which is how it should be. Not just throw out random divekicks to get in and out for free.

Well...yeah. None of the characters I main in Injustice are OP by any means. Green Arrow, Ares, Grundy, Lobo. and guess what? None of my mains got nerfed. That shows that I don't play BS characters. If you want to call someone out for only looking out for their mains, look at Rico Suave. He quit the whole game because his main got nerfed.

Superman may have been OP, but Black Adam definitely was not. He was strong. Just like Green Arrow is strong. Only difference is Black Adam was easier to use. Adam is more than likely going to become the Kano of Injustice. He got hit harder than Scorpion.

Though I can honestly say that I don't care about which characters you use. If you want to be self conscious about who you main and what people think of you for playing them, that's your deal.
 
Black Adam and Superman are on the same level, in different aspects. It's also a 5-5 matchup between them. Green Arrow can't get in then get out for free without any punishment. You can stinger to get in and savage blast to get out, but there is a big window between that where he can be punished. Black Adam is the only character that can't be punished by a majority of the cast, even offline. He is also the ONLY character that can get out of certain setups, Green Arrow's fire arrow setup is one of them. If only one character in the game can do those things, how is he not OP? Black Adam and Scorpion got nerfed because they defied the logic of Injustice. Scorpion is still strong if you use his vortex.
 
Green Arrow has ridiculous mixups and knocked arrow + Jumping around is one of the most threatening things in the game.


Black Adam was not OP. He had a good way of getting in, good damage and good zoning. Aka a strong character. He only has 2 low attacks, neither of which lead to additional damage. And because you can't punish him he's OP? It isn't like his stomp is perfect. It still gets beat by MBb3's, whiff punishing and moves with higher priority.
 
I agree, they hit Black Adam way too hard. He's slower, does less damage and has a cooldown increase for his trait. Too much, IMO.

In regards to Superman, he's still good. He still has F23, trait and adequate zoning. That's really all he needs.
