Open Letter to NRS regarding KP2

Rooftop Dawn was my favorite out of MK9. And it's another reason the MKX stages bother me. Rooftop dawn appeared for less than 5 minutes in story mode, and wasn't even apart of any fight yet it was still an official stage. So why couldn't we get a daytime version of the Shaolin Temple like we saw at the end of Cassie's chapter?

Lol, I remember that. SOO much butt hurt over the idea of Freddy before he was even confirmed. Then when he was confirmed.. there was hate EVERYWHERE.

My favorite post ever in that thread, was someone after Freddy was announced was like "Well I guess we should all suck this guy's dick" Because people were saying the idea of Freddy being in was so ridiculously bad, and basically telling the guy to "STFU" constantly about Freddy.
 
I think that was me that said that lol. I even pm'ed the guy apologizing for doubting his gospel
 
The Deadpool was probably my favorite stage from MK9.
I liked the detail that went into putting the dudes that lowered their victims into the acid.
The Belltower would have been my favorite stage, had they put the stage Fatality in.
Tied for 2nd place, for me, was Shang Tsung's Throne room and Goro's Lair.
Glad that they paid attention to detail and made Shang Tsung and Goro both absent from their thrones when you fought them in Ladder Mode.
 
I'm just sick of freaking Horror movie guests. Three of em in the span of two games. Incredibly excessive.

Im confused...

You dont mind Alien and Predator in the game? But you do mind Freddy, Jason, & Leatherface?... But why do you hate them? I guess its your own opinion... but i just believe that Freddy was AMAZING except for the fact that he had 2 claws.... and that he didnt look like Robert :(
 
It really is a shame that Freddy was in MK9. He'd be infinitely better in MKX where he could actually flex the charisma muscle that makes him Freddy Krueger. A mute Freddy aint Freddy at all

I agree 100%! He would have been AMAZING in MKX with all the intros dialogue. Plus we could have had a Freddy VS. Jason battle. You know something. I love kombat pack 1 and especially 2. But it would have been a good idea if they had all MK characters for the Kombat Pack 1 and 2 and then Kombat pack 3 could have been a "Guest pack" which would have been Alien, Predator, Jason and Leatherface. Then everybody would be happy. Lol regardless i love the idea of guest characters. Haha. Just really wish they had saved Freddy for MKX. Maybe he will make it back for Kombat pack 3 with Fujin, Rain and Sindel (fingers crossed)
 
If they did the packs like that there would be less of a chance of people buying the mk one. The guests sell a lot but they want people to pay for the whole pack. Why make 30 when you can make 60

I really don't like Alien and Predator either, never got into those movies. I just didn't categorize them as horror characters, because some would argue it's Sci Fi and what not. I only watched the first Predator because of Arnie.

So yeah, that's five guest characters in total I have zero interest in cuz in my opinion the horror genre is incredibly boring and I don't get scared. So I never resonated with these characters.

Same with me.
Predator I loved because of Arnold, and Part 2 was Ok with Danny Glover, but it wasn't action hero Arnie.
I agree that Alien and Predator are more Sci-fi / action movies.
AvP I didn't care for, either.
Predator is not really horror like Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface are.

I think Terminator and Michael Myers will probably be in MK11 since they wanted them in MKX. It won't surprise me if Robocop and Pinhead also make it into MK11. Too bad we will never get another video game guest fighter in a MK game. Kratos probably made NRS never want to use a video game character in MK again. Kratos had to be water down due to licensing rules from Sony.
 
Seeing Kratos in 2011 kinda made me stop liking the character altogether. However, despite that I don't mind this pack, I wouldn't mind seeing other guest characters in the future that isn't apart of a horror movie.

Maybe Netherrealm might jump the bandwagon and throw in Darth Vader :P

Just watch as NRS makes all DLC for MK11 guest characters.
