Official Street Fighter Thread

I sorta get the feeling Akuma won't be in the core roster this time around, which kinda sucks but if he ends up being a secret boss that gets made playable later or something I'd be cool with that.

Not bad it's always good to have character from underrepresented country

Now street fighter needs an austrailian character

tekken and mk has one so why not this game

Also am curious as to what Capcom ' interpretation be on characters from the Czech Republic and South Africa countries NRS felt needed to get a rep
 
He seems interesting. It's cool to see a character with a focus on wind based attacks and his moves look pretty flashy.

Do you think they revealed him on 9/11 on purpose or...?
 
Looks like he is wearing a scouter from DBZ, lol. Also, what's up with the backpack or whatever he is wearing on his back? His gameplay looks interesting enough.

That being said, I never understood the reasoning to have character from [insert random country] quota into a game.

who do you think we'll get in the last three spots of the oldies? I'm guessing one spot will be given to Akuma, one spot to a female and one more male that will be a roster risk rather than a super classic

i cant imagine a street fighter without at least one of these -
Guile or Sagat or Balrog

i hope they revamp Deejay ,Elena, or El furte like they did Birdie. also wouldnt mind Decapre returning too.

well the original concept was the world warriors fighting from different countries to find out who was the best.

But seriously, though he sports the traditional Middle-Eastern look like Shaheen from Tekken 7, I like his wind-based moves. And he seems a bit techy as well, with that aim-screen at his left eye and he seems to carry some sort of backpack... I wonder what that's all about.
