New character and arena coming soon

To Me if Sub-Zero, Scopion, And Liu Kang Are in it, i am good.

and Dammit liu kang NEEDS to be in it!!!
Yall Niggas is forgeting about the Champion of Mortal Kombat
And if he is in it, he needs to come back with his Bruce Lee Voice And not the regular Fightin voice from mk vs dc

This is not correct, ok modok sucks, but you you have plenty of cool caracters: the best addition from my point of view is Thor. You also have Magneto back, and symbiotic spidey (black living costume). Not to mention Doom, Captain America ( easely one of the best characters) and iron man. And wait... thats not all ;) they only revealed 26 characters from the 30+ complete roster.
Media wise Capcom is doing a better job then Netherrealm studios, They are also revealing their characters and stages slowly but we got alot more info from capcom's side.
 
I hope they show an important character in MK history, such as Liu Kang, Kano, Sonya, and/or Jade.

The new arena I'm pretty sure it'll be Scorpion's Lair
 
Anyone noticed the black shadowy beast behind Scorpion on the website? I wonder if he is there for decoration or is a sub-boss.
 
The official site have been updated, so we can now see a new look for Shao Khan (new helmet), and a new background : Hell !! (yes, it looks very very KOOL !!)

The new Shao Kahn is definitely better. I prefer the helmet and the shoulder armor of the 2nd pic (YES finally the shoulder armor is straight and not semi circular pointing upwards). For the fan's sake though, couldn't they just give him back his MK 3 helmet? It was the best (personal opinion)
 
arnt we going to be getting a new character announcement / video or something soon from gt
when is that going to happen?
 
^ I believe the next announcement is on November 1st. Keep checking the Mortal Kombat website and TRMK for updates.
 
I believe the countdown on the official site is the release of the Kombat Chat. As for gametrailers. Yeah, we are supposed too be getting a new character and arena on GTTV which airs (Eastern time) Thursday night/Friday morning at 1am. Already have a reminder set for my cable box. It's 3am at the moment so it should air tonight. Otherwise check the gametrailers website after the 1am mark and they should be uploading it, if they don't upload it early that is.

Unless of course Gametrailers is ****ing us over. Remember Boon's twitter said Geoff Keighley was getting the reveal and someone tweeting asking Boon when they could expect the information. All he said back was it wouldn't be same day because they need time too prepare the show. That was last week so all in all... Today should be it. Unfortunately I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.. Especially with all the disappointment the site countdowns led too.

EDIT: just checked Keighley's twitter... The MK episode will not be airing this Today. He's said the MK show will be airing "later this month". Wtf? He got the footage over a week ago and we have too wait 2-3 weeks too actually see it..

Ahh well, I'm sorry I couldn't be any help guys.

I'm hoping that by 3pm on Nov 1st (when the website countdown reaches zero), we'll ALSO get a new character and background, aside from Kombat Chat.

Rigo Cortes just replied to me via twitter, that the next MKast will be out next week.

NinjaBoy66 @Araknyd03 MKast 2.2 won't be until sometime next week. Still working on it but the fans need something until then
 
Yeah, and he'll just sit there naked in a beanbag chair eating Cheetos. It's been confirmed.
