As far as the discussion about outfits for the female characters, I think it looks a bit silly to have girls fighting in stripper outfits. Form fitting and even semi revealing is fine IMO but when they barely cover their vagina and nipples that's a bit much. It kind of takes me out of the fight when I see a girl with her ass cheeks fully hanging out fighting in high heels. Do straight guys really get off on computer generated women? I mean if Jax was running around in a thong I'd still think it looks stupid even if it was nicely modeled lol. I also think every woman having exaggerated features is dumb, Sheeva doesn't need a 6 pack and huge tits. I know they've likely toned it down a bit because they don't want to be targeted by a bunch of PC police who don't even play the game anyway but if someone were to make a big deal about it you know the gaming media would write countless articles about it and it may even get to the mainstream press.

I can't believe I am being devil's lawyer here, but pc articles mean nothing.

Dead or Alive Xtreme guys (volleybal beach game not the fighting game) did a pretty smart thing. Once PC Police came running and screaming about sexism, they simply decided not to sale games at those countries. While US realistically was the only country making noise about it, Europe was also included, due lack of interest.
Over the last 2 years. Game sales showed one thing. Listening, responding and shaping your games according to the wishes of some random PC bloggers, just means one thing. Lost sales.

Then it comes to outfits, they should just go between MKX and MK9.

It is disappointing..

Wow this guy is an idiot. Seriously? Nothing is sacred now. I would be f%cking treasuring an invite like that. Getting to see Mortal Kombat reveal live? And he threw that away for some likes on Reddit.

I've seen worse happen.

This Twitch streamer called smokethrone had a closed beta of this new EA game called Anthem, and he was under an NDA, so what does he do? In an act of being as clumsy as he is stupid, he goes on Twitch to stream what he thought was this shiny new toy of his, but within minutes, his closed alpha access got revoked by EA (which happened live onstream), and allegedly, EA wiped out his entire game library on his Origin account. Now, the mere thought of a single entity deleting your entire game library that you rightfully paid for with your hard earned money is pretty damn scary (as well as a compelling argument for the continued existence of physical media), and I said this allegedly happened because we don't know if EA actually wiped out his library (though EA is certainly evil enough to do so) or if he just made that account to get the closed alpha, but seriously! Smokethrone signed a legal binding Non Disclosure Agreement! He was old enough to know better than that, and stupid enough to do it anyway!

Eh. Heard about that guy. To be honest I don't think EA should be able to delete all your games. He broke NDA related to his access to Anthem. I don't remember a single NDA (for early alpha access) that I got, containing a sentence or any kind of mention that if I break their NDA, they will remove or touch other games of mine. Then again. It is EA platform, most of NDA contracts I got, were from developers like Rare. Still removing entire library... that's actually a bit worrying. If they allow themselves to take our games, for which we paid, what will stop next time from doing that for a different offense? That's a very slippery slope.

Still. I don't really consider that worse. Maybe because I just don't give two shits about EA games, while with MK no matter how brutally I was shat on with MKX PC controversy, I am still a massive fan of MK world. So seeing someone waste an invitation like that. I don't remember when was the last I felt jealousy towards someone. But that black letter, with a physical MK coin inside... Damn. Invitation to the front rows. That's some premium level shit. And waste that... for some upvotes on Reddit... Now that's a complete Dumbass.

Imagine a guy doing mocap for MK, only to be dragged into MK world, and then fighting through hordes of enemies to the very top and beating Blaze. That's some Employee of the Year shit right here.

If they ever said Mokap would be a DLC, in a reality where Alien, Predator, Jason, but specially Leatherface were not even in my mind, I could get mad. But I would exchange any MK character over them.

I'm afraid MK's guests became "a must" for many people, thus for NRS. MK9 was great, large roster, one exclusive and one guest. I even bought Freddy (because I bought the whole pack, and already got Kratos due to PS3), but that was that.

In MKX he was actually about redemption and atoning for his past sins.
It was HE who called Hanzo over to try to make ammends, and not the other way around, even stopping Frost in her tracks and saying that she had "much to learn."
If anything, he became more of the humble Grandmaster.
If every teacher who tries to show someone a lesson is a "douchebag," then said person is going to have a very hard time in life, learning the hard way.

Mortal Kombat sells mostly in North America and the UK so I don't think they can block those markets out, plus it's made by an American company so nobody can use the "culture" argument that some tried for DOA because it was made in Japan either. I don't know, it doesn't offend me but it just looks stupid seeing women dress so scantily in a game, I thought quiet in MGSV was one of the most embarrassing characters I've seen in a game yet. There is a whole lot of area between dressing a female character up as either a nun or a stripper, I think they did a great job in Injustice 2 with characters like Black Canary, she had some fairly revealing clothes without it looking like she was being modeled by a 14 year old boy.

It's not about being bummed, it's that any leak that doesn't mention Sonya being revealed automatically seems a lot less credible.
