Mortal Kombat 11 General Discussion Media Thread

I do hope nrs took in some fan feedback from X and adds some of the downplayed 3D era characters (Frost, Fujin, Sareena, etc.) to the roster, of course there are still gonna make room for trilogy and new era characters, but having a few would def. spice up the roster, and like I said before this multi-timeline thing could lead to some 3d-era kombatants who died in the comic to return.

(Also if we are getting more new characters, can one of them be a Red Dragon member who's actually interesting, so there organization can feel less like a joke besides Daegon).
 
I think Fujin and Noob Saibot are guaranteed for this game. I think they were the most requested MK characters for dlc outside of the cyborgs

I forgot about the revenant thing at the beginning. Post-revenant Sub-Zero still acted like a douchebag upon meeting the Kombat Kids, though.

I totally forgot, Fujin was supposed to be in MK9. He had an announcer voice file in there and everything. They've been dissing this guy for almost a decade now lol
 
Regarding Kronika (or who ever is that bald woman)...

* I hope I can customize her to look more feminine and sexy with HAIR!

* If she is the final boss, I hope she will have a second form where she's wearing nothing but the white (or baby blue) energy all over her body and that the energy will also cover her scalp (like how long hair does)! I hope she will be GOD TIER especially if she is a boss.

I'd love to see her abilities and hopefully it'll involve using the energy as weapons and projectiles. Also, I hope she's able to have moves that are fast as The Flash and is able to make the opponent slower. I can only imagine and I hope I'm right. That would be awesome! ;)
 
Considering the leaked roster is going to be real, I must say that I‘m fine with it. I am happy Fujin, Rain, Noob Saibot and Smoke are back. Though I‘d like Reiko and Havik to be on the roster as well.

If Kazuya and Heihachi can be in the same game 8 times (which I have heard a grand total of ZERO people complain about), then Sonya and Cassie have that same right. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

If your talking about that fake leak that Ed Boon deconfirmed, don't base any credibility on the fact that it included information from the email leak as the person who made it pretty clearly just planted information from it into his leak to make it seem more legit.

So, you completely forgot the fact that Sub-Zero was in cahoots with Johnny Cage to teach the "kids" how to fight better / together as a team, given that they had gotten a bit c*cky and thought that they didn't need each other?
In MKX he was actually about redemption and atoning for his past sins.
It was HE who called Hanzo over to try to make ammends, and not the other way around, even stopping Frost in her tracks and saying that she had "much to learn."
If anything, he became more of the humble Grandmaster.
If every teacher who tries to show someone a lesson is a "douchebag," then said person is going to have a very hard time in life, learning the hard way.

Well said. I came to the game late and saw it kinda like "Kazuya/Heihachi dropping someone off the clip" simulator, but it seems nobody cares about it. But again, the game has pretty extensive roster. I think people won't care so much about Sonya or Cassie if they bring in some fresh blood. If they expand the roster.

THIS is my main issue with the possible MK11 roster.
With the main roster for MK games usually consisting of 25 ~ 27 characters (MKX and MK9, respectively), you're damn right I don't want 16 of those 25 ~ 27 to be from MK9 / Trilogy.
If it was 40 characters on the main roster for MK11, then no, I wouldn't care as much about 20 characters being klassics, because then that means that another 20 would be new / 3D era characters.
 
Considering the past few NRS games where the roster has increased each passing game. We could see close 40 kharacters (including DLC) by Spring 2020
 
Yeah, if each KP has 6 characters (and there are 2) we could see a total close to 40 characters, but in the mean time the main roster will likely have roughly 25 - 28 characters at launch.
Plus, 4 - 6 of those total DLC characters will probably be guests, given how with each passing game they put more and more guests in.
 
I would be so happy if they actually REDUCED the number of guests. To be honest we won't be getting many horror movies, and NRS doesn't repeat DLC, so... maybe... just maybe we only get 3 at best? I am ok with Spawn though. Only one guest character, that actually makes sense in MK universe.
