MKII Premier Tower is up

That's the only redeeming thing about these Mk1 thru MK4 Towers (IMO); collecting the BG, icon and border.
A BG, icon and border that don't even give you that much of a reward for having them, mind you.

Sadly, I can get more XP, Faction XP and Koins with other BG, icon and border combinations than I can with the MK1 and MKII BG, icon and border sets.

I'd rather grind for all that shit. PS1-era Final Fantasy games taught me the value of that anyway.

I got the secret fight and beat her in the first round (as Raiden) but then lost the next two. :(

I'll try again tonight maybe. I want the achievement for beating a secret fight, cus I already have the one for beating an assassin.
 
Well I played it yesterday and did get the secret fight (and won!). It was right after I fought Raiden (Opponent #8 ), though I did lose one round with him.

So no one really knows the exact requirements? Is there anyone who DIDN'T get the fight?
 
Just did a brutality on Kitana again using Scorpion and it unlocked the secret fight again. Actually, i did a brutality on everyone in the tower.

Nah.
I tested that theory and let the AI hit me a few times and I still unlocked it.
I also did a mix of Faction Kills, Fatalities and Brutalities along the way and still unlocked it.
 
i cant stand these mk, mk2 towers....they are horrible offerings....characters/stages missing...how are you going to have mk2 without shao khan, kintaro or even shang tsung...and the secret fight...kitana with a jade variation...dumb...what about noob/smoke?

baraka will hopefully make an appearance eventually...but it seems like ed boon/netherealm really half ass shit most of the time
 
I've done the tower twice and got the secret fight twice but can't beat it. Too much blocking and fan/light stick spam. :(
