Re: MKHS: First Day
Ok. Sorry for the wait, I had a crazy few days, what with it being deleted and all. This isn't finished, and I'll post the rest when it's done, which should be tonight, but I don't want to risk anything. Anyway, enjoy!
MKHS: Monday
By Bishop Oldfield
Kombat High School, 6:45 A.M.
Two teenagers stood across each other from the basketball court. The two teens, Jax and Kano, were ready to settle a vengeance between. Their friends had arrived with them, for support.
“What do you think’s going to happen?” Johnny Cage said.
“Fight.” Kung Lao said sarcastically.
“ I know that. I’m just saying, who do think is going to win?”
“I don’t know. But we’re about to know.” Said Liu Kang, noticing the shift in Jax’s feet, ready to charge. Kano repeated. Suddenly, the two charged at each other.
Jax was the first to strike. He threw a fist that hit Kano square in the jaw, which sent him reeling. Kano recovered, and threw a few punches, all of which Jax blocked, then kicked Kano in the stomach, knocking him back. When Kano could see straight, what he did seemed to defy gravity. He jumped up into the air, curled up into a ball, and pushed forward in the air lightning fast. Jax had no time to react, as the Kano cannonball dug into his stomach, sending him to his knees. As Kano landed and went back to a human form, he charged Jax, and took him to the ground, pounding Jax, who was failing to defend himself. Eventually, Kano grew tired, which gave Jax the opportunity he needed to pick Kano up with one hand, stand up, and beat him with his other fist, before throwing him to the ground. As he started punching Kano, all his anger, from last year’s defeat, to his entire summer of working towards this day, to last night at Sonya’s house, seemed to flow into his fist. As he was about to deliver one last blow, something stopped his fist.
When he snapped out of his thoughts, we saw what had stopped him… a 3-fingered gigantic hand. He then felt something grip his head and pick him up. He didn’t even have to turn to look, not that he could move his head, to know Mr. Goro had arrived at the school and saw the fight. After Kano woke up after a short amount of time, Mr. Goro bellowed, “TO MR. JINKO’S OFFICE! NOW!” To which the two of them ran into the school instantly. He ten turned to the spectators and told them to go to their homerooms. They all walked inside the school, and sat down. The conversations started immediately.
“Holy god, was that intense!”
“What the hell did Kano do with that cannonball thing out there?”
“Did you see Mr. Goro’s face? Priceless!”
“Did you see Kano’s face after he woke up? It was a bloody mess!”
After a few minutes more of talking, Mr. Tsung appeared in the classroom.
“Now class, I know there was a bit of controversy outside this morning, but we must get our things together for today.”
Just then, the bell rang, and Mr. Kahn’s voice came on over the intercom.
‘Good morning, students! It has come to my attention that our gym teacher, Mr. Goro, witness a…….er, minor, fight. Like every school, there is a strict no fighting policy, and fighting will be dealt with severely. Because we know fighting is in your genes, we have decided that for this week, we will learn the basic of various combats in gym, with a sparring session at the end of the week. And Jackson Briggs and Kano, please report to Mr. Baraka’s room in Room 18 for detention, where you will be for the rest of week in school.”
“Ok.” Mr. Tsung said. “It’s time to go to start the school day.”
And with that, the students left the classroom, both interested and excited about the prospect of learning some fighting moves.
And this is all I can get today. Sorry for taking so long and adding it in parts, but procrastination sucks BALLS.
