The "Moon" is actually a greyed out version of the Earth, alternate realm possibly. The "lightening" looks more like a heart beat monitor style graphing thing to me. And the numbers spell out Free and Klose converting them into their equivelent in the alphabet.
I think the pictures are referencing words too. Face, ?, ?, ?, ?, Free, blank, blank, Klose/Close. I'm not sure what the 2nd animal is but if you take the first letter of all of their names then you get R?GE, I'm guessing the 2nd letter is animal starts with an A (Ant Eater?). So then you have Face, Rage, Free, (blank), (blank), Klose as a possibility. The timer could be part of this too - Time (to) Face (the) Rage.
The Earth and Greyed version/Moon being tied together with the MK symbol seems to support another actual MK Tournament or that these two realms are bound in some way, without one the other could not exist or the destruction of one destroys them both etc.

I've been saving the last few images, I wasn't thinking either.
He made another update, it shows a series of numbers under the pictures. Not sure what it means but it could be decoded to FREE and KLOSE. So it's likely what he meant. So we have RAGE with the animals, and FREE and KLOSE. Any ideas out there? I'm drawing a blank.

Maybe the planets mean "when worlds collide" and its a MK vs Primal Rage game. If it was i would be disappointed. I want a totally new MK game, not mk vs another game.

There isn't much you need to know about it, really. A cataclysmic event took place that somehow led to the release of god-like dinosaurs that took over the Earth and the continents reformed into the super-continent of Pangaea.
I was completely joking when I said it could be MK vs. PR. Aside from the fatalities and gore, the games are really nothing alike and exist in two completely different realities. Even if there is a "when worlds collide" thing going on here, Primal Rage still seems incredibly unlikely.

I don't think it'll cross over with Primal Rage. For one Primal Rage was never that big of a game, the sequel was cancelled with it being very close to finished. A PR VS title would do nothing to sell the game. Secondly I can't see the next MK game being a VS game unless its a stand alone game outside of the series. I can see there being characters from other universes in the game (Maybe a PR or DC character or two).
I don't think we'll see a DC crossover either. DC characters have been marketed towards kids and I can't see them being allowed in a traditional MK game. A severly toned down game maybe. I could however see characters like Batman or some villians being hidden or extra characters but not as a way to market the game, there would be an uproar since , again, DC chracters are known in the mainstream for their cartoons. Boon's said he wants a gritty more realalistic game and the DC (non-comic) universe as it is now doesn't fit.

if we did get an MK vs. PR, it'd be silly cos the characters in PR are like as big as skyscrapers. To make MK vs. SC, you'd have to either make MK without gore or make SC really violent, which doesn't fit. Nothing in the western market fits with Mortal Kombat, and Eastern franchises are all too anime orientated.

I never noticed the Moon was actually Earth, so that's an interesting theory. And never thought of the face meaning FACE.
I have a feeling more clues are coming soon since his updates seem to be two days apart.
April 17th is also quickly fast approaching.
