Sub-Zero and Scorpion's look like revamped versions of the MK vs DC costumes, not the Klassics.
There's a BIG difference between the MK 9 costumes and the Klassic DLC costumes.

There is not a big one, there is a huge one, but my point is that Shang Tsung (old mk9 and mk1) costumes are even more differnt than that ones, Im just going to the basics.
I know they are very very different, I love Sub's and Kitana's MK9 costumes, but I hate their classics alts.

How did this thread start? I don't even get the 1st Post. I know it's about klassics kostumes or something, but ummm. "Lime and blueberry"?

They always call the classics with food related names.

Cyrax and Sektor = Mustard and Ketchup
Smoke and Noob = Salt and Pepper

And they said the next ones are Blueberry and Lime.

Someone asked who is after "Salt & Pepper" (Smoke & Noob)
They replied "Lime & Blueberry" (? & ?)

Possible hints at new costumes in the next compatibility pack, or Rigo was just hungry.
You never know with NRS.

They could just be messing with us, for all we know. :-|

I hope they don't mean Kitana and Jade, They already have suits.
But Jax and Sonya would be a nice addition, And it fits the color code if NRS wasn't just trolling, That's a big if, Mind you.

Really wouldnt get too excited if it turned out to be jax and sonya. Would rather have MK2 Shang Tsung. Its possible that it is jax and sonya. But Im hoping
Lime= Shang Tsung(MK2)
Blueberry= Sub Zero(MK3) as an alternate for Cyber Sub Zero

Why would they give Sub-Zero 2 Klassics?
I can see Shang being lime, Maybe Bluberry could mean Raiden?
But his primary is close enough to MK2 Klassic...

Lime must be Sonya. She'll probably be decked out in her lime colored spandex. Blueberry... Eh... I'm still thinking Stryker. But is it really necessary for a classic Stryker?

Raiden isn't necessary either. His costume is pretty damn close to the originals. A classic for Johnny and Jax also seems boring.

I would trade in the four "Klassic" costumes for alternate costumes for the four dlc characters.

...but I would be happy for Johnny Cage without the tattoo too...

EDIT: Good point about Sony and Jax as Lime and Blueberry lol

Necessary, or rather unnecessary, is the key word here. Which makes me think...
IMO it's not looking good for non-ninja characters' klassics. Many MK9 costumes are updates of klassics, or a mix of costumes. The differences would be negligible for the most part. Some are just too uninteresting to bother with, which basically includes all MK1 costumes. Some are just unpopular. There are exceptions, but not many, and if NR can't give every character the the klassic treatment, it seems unlikely they'd give it to a select few. I could be wrong, but I think the klassics are going to stop after the ninjas, and alternates for ordinary characters will probably be new designs.

Anyway, so no one else thinks it makes sense that Jade and Kitana are next? They're Edenians, think about it.

If we're getting new alternates for Kitana and Jade, I totally welcome them. Their alternate costumes (not including the classics) are awful. And it doesn't help that they have iffy looking faces.

I think lime is definitely sonya. Now which outfit, I dunno. I think what classic outfit she gets will decide who the other is. So if it mk1 sonya, it will be mk1 johnny.

That is going off the trend of there being two character alts from the same game. And if these codenames is how they've been hinting at the costumes packs previously.

If lime and blueberry are code names for the new dlc (as are:mustard/katchup, salt/pepper) I'd say Sonya and Cage/Jax. I'd really like Shang and unmasked SZ but that's for another thread. Personally. I think Boon was just messing with us.
