I'd say it's either going to be MK2 Kitana and Jade or Klassic CSZ and Cyber-Reptile. Of course, the last one would, you know.... require CR be released, so it's pretty much assured it'll be the females (could be MK2 Reptile, but I doubt it). Those setting their hopes on anyone other than the palette swap ninjas are setting themselves up to have their hearts broken. At least for now.

These are free outfits, so an outfit that can only be used one time by one character, with all the work required to make it, is not going to be released when they still have plenty of coloring options for outfits that can be used more than once and are (or most likely are) already done (MK2 Scorpion/Sub-Zero/Reptile/Kitana/Jade/Mileena, MK3 CSZ). Don't get me wrong, I'm more than confident EVERY character will get a retro outfit eventually, as Klassic Skins Packs 2, 3, and maybe even 4 and beyond (I mean, after these next four, there are at least 18 possibilities, not counting DLC characters). They just won't be free outfits. After all, we had to pay for the pre-orders, so the chances of getting all those one-time use retros for free are less than those of seeing Meat as a DLC character. And if you follow Ed on Twitter, you know what the chances are of that happening.

Sonya and Johnny Cage. Hopefully we get the Kerri Hoskins version of Sonya (right down to the face model) if Lime does, in fact, refer to Sonya.

Someone guessed Raiden and Shang Tsung, or Sonya and Cage, and those are the only ones who make sense to me beyond Kitana and Jade.

The pack is usually with two people that are somewhat related

Jax and Sonya seem MORE related though.
As someone else mentioned, maybe Blueberry = Jax's purple pants.

I would say this is more likely, as "Blue"berries are actually purple. Go figure :/

I think and hope Lime is MK3 sonya in my *Johnny Cage voice* "She's Hot!!!" Blueberry is most likely subzero, but then again I could be wrong

NOTE: sonya wears lime green & jax wears purple (also "blueberry")

well if Rain is "grape" then I assume "blueberry" & "lime" are Sub-Zero & Reptile (MKII)

these are free DLC, they're probably gonna release all the other characters' classics for sale at a later date

and I hate to tell everyone, but BLUEberries are... BLUE (go figure)

All I can think of when they say 'lime' is Sonya's first costume, Reptile, and Jade. Can't say what else they could mean lol. We are talking about the blueberry and lime speculations right?

I doubt they'd start off the non-ninja klassic outfits with somebody like Jax, who isn't as popular as Johnny Cage, and he didn't debut until MK2, and I think that NRS will want to start off with the OG cast of the first 6 characters that aren't ninjas. Cage and Sonya makes more sense, IMO.

Sometimes the blueberries themselves give off a purple-ish hue.
I wasn't trying to come off as a smart-ass.

While I agree that continuing the Klassics would make more sense with the Original 7, Jax and Sonya go together like Noob and Smoke or Cyrax and Sektor.

I don't see Hornbuckle because he's an entirely different character. They could just make him an MKII Liu Kang costumes with green accents, but then it wouldn't really be Hornbuckle just green Liu Kang. Lime and blueberry really implies, to me, that they're the two classic costumes that accompany each DLC character.
