Ed Boon and John Vogel don't like Hsu Hao. It won't surprise me if Kano killing him off in the story mode would be true. Since we won't get a Armageddon type of game anytime soon, they will likely keep him dead for good.

To be fair, Kano had the red thing across his chest before Hsu Hao did
And yet, it gets overlooked by everyone because they INSIST it's a Hsu Hao only thing.

For your own sake try to lower your expectations from now on: I'm not sure that we'll get any other character reveal than Kano and his three variations.
We'll certainly get new interviews and whatnot but I have a gut feeling that it is spoiled just like Raiden's reveal with that quote. Kano and a new arena with a stage fatality ain't that bad but it will be anti-climactic with these leaked photos.

That's an accessory on Kano. Hsu Hao had a chest laser. That's not the same thing.

Nah it's just funnier to see how people react and how fickle the are when a fan favorite gets a costume that mirrors one of the most disliked characters in the games history.
It's getting a bit weird now, why would Kano steal another mans clothes?

Of course it isn't. However, I'm already seeing many people claiming that it is a chest laser more than just an accessory.
I mean, I see it that way. I see nothing that says it's a chest laser, just something that's on him that's red. Nothing indicates at all it's the chest laser. It stinks that a lot of people are immediately thinking that this is something that one character needs and can't be used on another, whether it serves a significant purpose or just being thrown on as an accessory.
Making a big deal out of a whole lot of nothing if you ask me.
Because Kano is a mofo who likes to wear other people's clothes.
gamescom isn't evo though and ed boon never leaked this it out sure he did for raiden but not like this so i think we will see a new characther along with kano and maybe even a stage since it been a while we seen a new stage

Hell yes! I'm so pleased Kano has returned. I love that he is somewhat balding and doesn't have the Chuck Norris look anymore. Very pleased with this.

He looks very different. At one side, I didn't like the new design, I mean physically. But this impression of mine may change when I see him fighting.
On the other hand, his outfit looks awesome.
Have you noticed that Kano and Ferra/Torr seems to be using an outfit like those post-apocalyptic stories (I'm not mentioning the Armageddon)? Also this "Outworld Market" deserted environment combines with this kind of armor. You know, skin sun tanned, boots, bladed weapons (Kano always loved), big beard...
Also, it seems that Richard Divizio's MK1 look was most inspiring.

Not bad, I don't mind him at all now, the worst part is that he is yet another character that was not only in MK9 but also not among the dead ones so the reveals are still not all that. I really hope they will show another character who will be at least presumed dead, if not absent in MK9.

Why should I apologize when the OP did not SHOW his sources the EXACT instant he made this thread?! When people don't show their sources the FIRST time, they are fair game to be called out on their credibility. (And I had the balls to accuse Patrick McCarron of false and misleading reporting at one point nearly 3 years ago, by the way.)
Sorry, but I have VERY high standards about shit like this, and I'm not changing them for ANYBODY! I don't give a damn if someone else posted proof; it was the EXCLUSIVE responsibility of the person who claimed it, and not anybody else!
