I thought the idea was that they were done with DLC this season, the whole "warriors pack" thing, not altogether.

MK Deception still works online? Was it released as DLC or something? I thought that the old Xbox Live was shut down. If it wasn't shut down I'd be playing Halo 2 online for nostalgic purposes.

i think you can still play online on ps2, folk still play SVR06 online so i wouldnt be suprised
 
They are idiots for nerfing everyone that's on their list. It's called PRACTICE. If you can't figure out a way out of a combo, breaker it and try and keep the pressure on. Simple as that. The sad thing is that people don't do this, instead they cry to NRS for a patch because they don't wanna take the time to practice.
 
how can anybody even suggest mk is dead? if you think mk is dead go play something else.

Edit: oops my bad. thought you meant the game was dead, not dlc. to be honest i hope there is no more dlc, because everybody only seems to want more guests, which is exactly what i dont want.

jesus christ people, we didnt even have such a thing as DLC untill recently in games. We played the games and made it last.

DLC in gaming has made people become so spoiled. If it isnt given out at all times, people begin to cry for their pacifier.

i agree with you. people act like without dlc the game is unplayable. BUT i do prefer dlc as opposed to capcoms tactics of keeping out content so they can release the same game every year with new characters.

Ultimate MK9 is by far the worst idea I've seen posted here. I'd still rather have DLC than that.
 
UMK9 is more than just extra content.


They need to fix problems that can't be fixed by means of a patch.
 
call me ol skool, but anyone remember the days where you'd buy a game (like MKI-III) and get NOTHING after! and you'd (some) play that game even till 2011 without a peep???
F**k me, be happy they released ANYTHING at all. Just play it, enjoy it and if anything comes out, it comes out. geeeeeeeez :hmmmm2:
 
I'd love to see Motaro too, but technically they can only pull it off if you're unable to perform x-ray attacks on him. Since he doesn't have a 2-legged humanoid figure like the other characters, the current x-ray animations wouldn't work on him, which I'm sure is the real reason he wasn't included in the first place.

Personally I wish they'd spread the DLC fighters out a bit more. They seemed to rush all 4 of them out too close together in my opinion, but maybe it'll make room for even more in the future. Come on, NRS, Jason this Halloween! Make it happen!
