So far, Scarecrow is only shown to be in the Mobile Game version. He isn't confirmed to be in the console version... and he might not be. We'll have to wait and see.

Something tells me that it is considering all the characters featured on the mobile game are either confirmed to be in or very likely to be playable in the main game, heck they even show some gear for the scarecrow in there, but your right, we can't say for certain until the reveal comes, all I'm saying is that his chances are very high.

surprisingly enough, the select screen this time is wrong and it looks like we'll get 31 characters on launch, plus 9 DLC for a total of 40 characters which is quite brilliant

thing is, even with the leak, one character is missing. we have:

1) Superman 2) Batman 3) Wonder Woman 4) Flash 5) Aquaman 6) Supergirl 7) Black Canary 8) Blue Beetle 9) Green Lantern 10) Green Arrow 11) Robin 12) Firestorm 13) Doctor Fate 14) Cyborg 15) ???

It's extremely unlikely he isn't in the console version as well. The MKX mobile game also leaked characters like Kenshi, and the NRS mobile games never really start off the bat with characters not in the console version as well.

It's extremely unlikely he isn't in the console version as well. The MKX mobile game also leaked characters like Kenshi, and the NRS mobile games never really start off the bat with characters not in the console version as well.

Their site had 31 character slots, now they changed it. Cheetah having her own slot made me believe she + Mr. Freeze + one missing would make the website's 31 slots as a pleasant surprise instead of the select screen having 28 slots. The site is changed now so I guess a more realistic approach would be Cheetah being 28, Mr. Freeze being a Captain Cold skin and Darkseid not having a slot on the original roster but instead the 29th slot. I guess the Goro deal would help us out here, did he have an original slot or no? I cannot remember at all. Either way, we're getting a total of 37-40 max

Don't worry if your lucky they might make him dlc or a Robin swap-skin (besides both Swamp-Thing and Scarecrow are supposed to be super dead in Injustice lore so it's not the biggest leap in logic).

Dick Grayson's Nightwing plays nothing like Damian Wayne's Robin in the game. A skin would not suffice at all.

Actually, Swamp Thing was never killed, just teleported to Hell. I'm sure the comic will explain how he got out.

Huh, I assumed he died considering in the last panel he appears in you literally see him burning alive in hell, but I guess Swamp Thing has come back from worse, and yea Scarecrow was killed by the joker in one of the first issues of Injustice, which I hope they will address, especially since Scarecrow looks kinda zombieish in Injustice 2.

Many people have been claiming that Mr freeze and captain cold are different skins of the same character. If that theory is correct than there may be more characters than we initially thought. I'd be really surprised if starfire doesn't show up at least as dlc.

That's what I think as well. I think it's safe to say that for the purposes of this game, NRS will treat Captian Cold and Mr. Freeze like MKX variations and allow each premium skin to have their slight differences in gameplay.

Plus with the rumors and high possibility of Sub-Zero being a guest, I doubt NRS is wanna gonna have separate slots for three ice themed characters.

Sub-Zero, Jin Kisaragi, Sasquatch and Kula Diamond are all ice-based characters of their respective games, but none of them play alike. MK alone has several characters that control fire to a certain degree. It's not just about who uses fire, water, wind, etc. but how they used.

The more Batman characters, the better, imo. That's the only part of the DCU I like. Well... Teen Titans too, so yeah, Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire would all be cool to have as well, but I'd like to see as many Batman characters as possible.

Of course Nightwing is my top wish to return.

MK alone has several characters that control fire to a certain degree. It's not just about who uses fire, water, wind, etc. but how they used.

I understand that even if characters have the same powers and abilities they don't use them the same way, but I still think it would be nice to have some more variety in the roster by putting characters that have completely different powers. This is why I really don't want a third Kryptonian being added when there's already Superman and Supergirl. Even if they were to play different from the others.

And in the MK games, the only characters that had a lot of fire attacks were Scorpion and Blaze. Other characters like Liu Kang and Shang Tsung have attacks involving fire, but they weren't fire themed characters and had other abilities as well.

Funny that you mention Scorpion as such, because it wasn't until later games that he got more fire attacks. The only fire-themed about him was his fire breath fatality, none of his moves were fire-based at all. Liu Kang and Shang Tsung were more fire-themed than Scorpion was.

That is true. But at this point, I think it's safe to say he's officially the main fire themed character.

Shang Tsung did originally have more fire moves, but his schtick has always been mainly being a sorcerer that steals other character's souls and shapeshifting into his opponents. None of his fatalities ever even had him using fire.

I like other parts of the DCU too, but IDGAF, it's not Batman's fault that he has more of the villains that I like.
Hell, I wish that Two-Face, Killer Croc and Penguin would also make the roster.
All of them were background fodder in the last game, and it would be nice to see them being playable in this game.

That makes sense.

I'm a huge Catwoman fan but she feels like a wasted slot to me. She brings absolutely nothing to the story and her gameplay is pretty basic. I would rather have Hawkgirl or Vixen than her.
