Injustice 2 Media and Discussion Thread!

Watched that latest Gear trailer at work, what a beautifully crafted game. This is what MKX should've been.
 


Someone in the comments section of the video pointed out that there's a Mr. Freeze premier skin for Captain Cold (2:10 mark), which is pretty awesome.

I assume the Steelbook will be very similar or maybe the same as it'll come with Ultimate edition ?
Game.co.uk is just giving only the steelbook if you preorder the Deluxe edition, maybe there will be the same coverart for Ultimate edition - maybe ? Will see in short time.
 
I don't mind Mr. Freeze being a skin for him.
Perhaps they made him a premier skin because WB / NRS got a bunch of complaints from people about "too many Batman characters."
 
I'm really looking forward to this game. I'm excited to play around with Ivy's armor pieces. Still not sure if I'm going to purchase the game at launch

My least favorite character, so far, is Black Canary. She honestly looks like a Sonya clone (totally just my opinion), but I'm looking forward to seeing what customization options we get for her!
 
I get that and I agree, but I also know that there's only so many moves that certain DC and MK characters will share.
Canary seems like a bit of a mix-up of Sindel and Sonya, imo, but I know that her Canary Scream is also an iconic character trait that she had, probably before Sindel came about.
It bugs me more when it's characters of the same universe having moves that are too similar (Sub-Zero / Frost and Killer Frost / Captain Cold / Mr. Freeze).
 
Sub-Zero, Killer Frost & Captain Cold are nothing alike mechanically.
Their playstyles are turtle, rushdown & zoner respectively. Sub-Zero & Killer might both have slides, but they're used in completely different ways.

This is true too bad nrs won't design a game with multiple ice based characters. I find it strange that they're fine with multiple fire based style fighters.

Funny thing is, people said that Frost could never be in MKX since she'd just be Sub-Zero with boobs, yet they seemed to have no problem with Cyber Sub-Zero. There are plenty of ways that Frost could be different from Sub-Zero. Nimble, ice weaponry, ice projectiles, ice daggers etc. There were some also some moves that Sub-Zero had in MKvsDC that he never used in any other game that can be also be given to her.

And now people are saying that Sub-Zero can't be in Injustice 2 since Captain Cold uses a freeze gun. I don't even want Sub-Zero(nor any other MK character for that matter), but I don't understand why people are acting like it's impossible for ice-based characters to play or use their powers differently. I guess if people wanna ignore the fact that Sub-Zero uses ice constructs like hammers, swords, clones, and things like that and would probably play more aggressively, then sure.
