I have mentioned this before in various Frost threads that if she were to be included and she should play completely different from Sub-Zero, and that there are ways to do so in order to have two characters that manipulates ice.
Give her the ability to manipulate ice in a different way where instead of freezing, it slows the opponent down. You take away every ice move that freezes opponents from her and replace it with snow or glaciers or something else that has to do with ice. She doesn't need to freeze.
However, I had a debate about this before, as to why should Sub-Zero be the special snowflake that gets to freeze while Frost can't.
There are other things that can happen with cold other than being completely frozen. We don't need to have two characters freezing opponents because then there wouldn't be any diversity, seeing how people have been bickering nonstop about thinking that everyone is going to play like another character. You want people to stop whining about that, you give Frost something completely different from Sub-Zero, that way, people can actually see the differences and can't complain about similarity amongst the two.
Frost has no original moves of her own other than her teleport punch, but I'm not going to say that's that original since almost every character in Armageddon had some type of teleport. Sure, Frost had her own version of the moves, but they were still not original. Original would be her doing something that we have not have seen in Mortal Kombat AT ALL. Having a variation of a move we've seen isn't original because of obvious reasons.
With that said, I am not calling her a clone. She is FAR from a clone. I'll be as stubborn as I want with this if anyone chooses to argue with me that she is. If she was a clone, she'd be having Sub-Zero's Deadly Alliance moves and not the two that they gave her that they felt would be more suitable for her rather than Sub-Zero. THAT is a clone. Frost may have been wielding Sub-Zero's abilities but she did not play like him at all. There clearly were differences.
As for the picture, I am still under the impression that it is a fake. As much as I am a die hard fan of hers, sadly I see this as a fake. There are parts of her that has Sub-Zero's costume written all over it, I'm sure whoever made this manipulated the costume in a way where there are differences, but she is clearly wearing some of Sub-Zero's primary outfit. I cannot see them having her wear something THAT identical to Sub-Zero's. That and the image just looks weird.
If it isn't a fake, and it is for the mobile stuff, well then I'm for sure getting it now (despite that I was going to get it anyways).
To be honest though, I don't care what the end result of this picture. It got people talking about Frost so I'm not complaining.
