Don't really like him

And god knows a bunch of people will jump on the Freddy Wagon for that Cyrax/Freddy factor... The 60% one bars...
 
ey yo siiiiimple 46% 1 meter combo:

jump-in punch, B1,EX close spike, jump-in punch, B1,2,U1,Nightmare Stance>1, dash, uppercut

suppppppper easy and way fun :D

im sure it could be more damage by replacing the ending dash>uppercut with an EX med. spike and another quick dash jump-in punch to more combo. have to try it out more though just havent tried enough yet :P


EDIT: ook ok got a lil more for a 49% ... couldnt get any ex med spikes or reg med spikes instead of the uppercut but if timed right you can swap the uppercut for:

F4,2,1 ... the timing is much more precise than the uppercut ending but it looks nicer too :P

The only special move of his I REALLY like is his "teleport" towards and away. It's so ridiculously quick that it can even be used during combos. I wish Liu kang had that, it would suit him so much. It would also give him a fighting chance against zoners..
 
Now that he's been out for awhile, some people are using him with great effect on line.

He's fast, quite small and has pretty beastly damage. He DEFINITELY needs a damage nerf, his damaging scaling is ridiculous! Other than that, im actually quite surprised how he's turned out.

He STILL doesn't fit into MK imo, but character/game wise, he's better than Rain and Ermac who I both find a bit lame and boring.
 
NRS needs to get off of their asses and patch Freddy, he's ****ing broken. Certain matches with him all projectiles are nullified. It's like Jade glowing green for the whole match.
 
OK, so this character seems to be overpowered - whether that is scaling or ease of combos, doesn't matter. Do you really think he is broken, or do you think they knew he would be a controversial choice of DLS so let him be released with this potential to get everyone talking and wanting to pay, download and play him?

Seems like a money spinner to me.
 
I would like to think Boon and NRS didn't make anyone intentionally OP, though I would say Freddy is a tad. It's not his moves (though that flame teleport is ungodly), but his damage is a bit over the top.

Ono is the douchebag that deliberately makes characters OP and look where that's got him.

Boon has more class than that. I hope.

It's not a move to spam. It's a move to use after knockdown. It limits an opponent's wakeup game.

Or you can use it if somebody wants to get into a projectile war and becomes really predictable...IE: Sweet Dreams > Teleport > Punish
