And how exactly water spray is similar to Reptile's? Water spray was Rain's projectile in Armageddon in 2007 and I don't remember Reptile having a similar move. Only in MK9, 2011, his enhanced acid looks like Rain's aqua splash, if anything, again, it's Reptile's move that is similar to Rain's, not the opposite.

I'll stop here ;) since it's obvious you never played as Rain before.

Still don't even understand why it's an argument???? It's all opinionated really. I like rain, but I also like Freddy as well. I think it brings pizazz to the game. Who cares if 2 fighters share similar moves? who cares if 2 fighters share same fighting style make up? and if you do care why? Just pick who you like become great and demolish everyone else :D
 
They will nevr fix the costumes that came in the comp patch. I really doubt it. And nothing is wrong with cyrax. He's like phnix in marvel your more scared of the char than the person playin it. I main cyrax and never use absoloute resets its garbage and unfair. But I can't waitto get my hands on freddy

I'm saying even without bombtrap cyrax does that kind of damage. So unless he's getting nerfed somewhere else I haven't heard about then no he's fine

the crawling fingers projectile is a really great attack. Does a whole lot of damage, and is a low hitter so he ducks while using it.

His attacks are pretty cool, but he shows zero personality. Which is a shame considering how comical and badass Freddy is supposed to be in the movies. The only thing that he does that resebles anything Freddy-like is his creepy ass whisper grap, and how he smile and waves in the furnace fatality.


But, I'll give them props for using the Nightmare on Elm Street Movie Poster in his ending. That was pretty cool and was a nice throwback.

this cover scared the shit out of me when I was a kid, and when this girls face reappeared in the game, I got the same creepy feeling that I got as a kid. congrats NRS

If not bomb trap then I'm not sure what glitch your speaking of. And that is besides the point, mk3 costume is banned, and cyrax is getting nerfed. So no he wont be doing that damage for long and no he isn't fine

Alright, here's some combos I came up with. OP, feel free to copy and paste this.
Need To Know Combos
Spoiler:

Split You In Two: 1, 1, 1: Your standard button mashy combo.

In Your Dreams: Back+1, 2, Up+1: Pops the enemy up for a juggle. Unlike most pops attacks, you do not need to dash forward to follow up the combo.

Kung Fu This *****: 2, 2, 1+2: Has good range, and deals good damage. The last hit is also an overhead.

Back+3, 3: The first input hits low, and it can be followed up with a Hell Spike, or an Power Glove Toss*.


Custom Combos
Spoiler:

Back+1, 2, Up+1, Nightmare Stance, 1, Power Glove Toss, Hell Spike (Far), Hell Spike (Far): 32% damage.

Back+3, 3, Power Glove Toss, Hell Spike (Far), EX Hell Spike, EX Hell Spike: 32% damage.

Hell Spike (Close/Mid/Far), EX Hell Spike, Power Glove Toss, Hell Spike (Far): 28% damage.

Forward+2, 1, 4, EX Hell Spike, Power Glove Toss, Hell Spike (Far), Hell Spike (Far): 39% damage.

*Yeah, I know I usually refer to enhanced moves as EX special moves, but I just love this reference so much that I can't help it.

I will gladly accept that you hate him. Im just tired of every one of your posts about hating him. If your going to hate on him at least go to the discussion threads instead of posting on the character strategy thread

DCP, you keep on hating on Freddy, you have every right to, like all those people on Freddies jock say, haters gonna hate, and Zoidberg's just hatin on you.
Now, my problem with Freddy is that while I was just playing online, ALL OF MY PROJECTILES WENT THROUGH FREDDY!! is this one his moves, an enhanced version of a move, or is there just a problem??

did i mention i dislike freddy being in Mortal Kombat??
