I voted for human Kuai Liang since he appeared as Subby in most of the games and I prefer his brother to be Noob Saibot.

Come to think of it now, I think I like both Bi Han and Kuai Liang as Sub Zero equally. Bi Han, being the stronger of the brothers initially is more ruthless and upfront and doesn't let his emotions get in the way of his duties. He even defeated the four elemental gods single handedly and endured the netherealm to retrieve Shinnok's amulet. Nothing can get more badass than that.
Kuai Liang, a more compasionate version of the brother has a greater sense of morality and conscience.
Thus both winners in my book.

It should also be pointed out that Kuai Liang quit the Lin Kuei in protest of the Cyber Initiative and lived to tell about it. The fact that quitting the clan is a crime punishable by death should tell you how much balls it takes to do so. Not only that, but he also came back and took over the clan.

In the original timeline, YES.
Not in MK9.

Didn't even see Flyboy's badass post that Trash replied to

I totally agree with it

The parallels between Bi-Han and Kuai Liang almost remind me of Goku and Raditz in a way

I only recognize the original timeline, because it's a far better version of the storyline than MK9's!

The original time line was epic until Armageddon, The dropped numerous of characters with story potential... The fact the dropped Jinko and brought in some Half ass character Taven pissed me off. They messed up the story so bad they had to restart over by making MK9

That part of your statement I agree with, but I just can't ignore THIS timeline.
It does exist.

MK 9 Story Mode was fun for me, until Chapter 12, when the story just went downhill.
Everything from Chapter 12 and after, just pissed me off to no end.

EDIT:
I'm probably one of the few people who HATES Cyber Sub-Zero, BOTH gameplay-wise and character-wise (No offense TaBB).

I love and hate Cyber Subby.

I despise the fact that he replaced Cyber Smoke, but I actually really like his design, aesthetically at least. Gameplay-wise I agree he could be better, he borrows a little more heavily from others than I would have liked but also I like the feel of controlling him and story-wise he has some potential, I think.

So, my feelings overall for CSZ are kind of a mixed bag, if you get what I mean

I know EXACTLY how you feel.
Noob Saibot is my favorite character IN THE ENTIRE MK UNIVERSE, but in MK9, I have this love\hate relationship with the character.
I love the way that NRS re-envisioned him pysically and special moves-wise, but I hate the fact that they've turned him into a spam\zone character gameplay-wise.

I hope that if he IS in MK10, that they make him more of a rush-down character, like he used to be.

Due to his story and iconic fatality in MK 1, Bi-Han is (and will always be) my favorite Sub-Zero.

No offense taken
I hated him at first too, I was pissed I didn't get Cyber Smoke. (Who was and is my 2nd favorite Character. I hate human smoke.)
Hated the concept and everything, then I went into training with him and was all like:
Noob Saibot is also my favorite Character, but I hate to use him in MK9.
I hate zoning, and Noob doesn't have much combo mix ups.
Cyber Sub has mix ups for DAYS, and I love his little ticks and turns he has.
Parry, bombs, his 1,2 1+2... I love that shit.
But, I digress.

From a gameplay standard I really liked Cyber Sub Zero, but story wise Cyber Smoke was my favorite MK character and always will be.

Kuai Liang is by far my favorite. He is a solitary character who comes to aid the Earthrealm warriors when needed. That kind of character has always been my favorite, the strong character who aids the main characters when needed and when his job is done he goes back to his solitary life. He was strong enough to stand up for what he believed in and left the Lin Kuei when they started the Cyber Initiative. Bi Han just followed his orders and defeated Earthrealm fighters in the name of Outworld. I'm not even separating this into "unmasked/masked/cyber," Kuai Liang (in all his forms) is the number one Sub-Zero.

I like him for that as well.

Even though I haven't extensively played the MK games, Sub-Zero has always been my favorite.
