Don't get me wrong fox usually always does well and there is always usually atleast 1 in the top 8 of any major. But they haven't been winning.

I watched Smash but I wasn't really feeling it, probably because I don't really understand the game; I loved the hype going on in the background though, and the Smash players chanting "One more Year" was a pretty cool way to end it all.
I think KOF had the most hype top 8 out of all of Evo though, with Marvel at second mostly because of Justin imo. If KOF isn't back next year it'll be a shame; its a really fun game to watch, especially when the best players are playing. I can't help to think how it would have been if Bala was there though.

Smash is hard to understand, because they are doing incredibly tough stuff to do and making really sick reads and their spacing is dope good.
When I was a noob, I watched some pro matches and was like man I totally have a chance to beat that guy. No, There is Sokol much depth that even after 12 years it's still alive because it STILL has not been 100% played to it's full potential.
The commentators of smash need to do a better job of explaining basics for new people. Other wise it looks like guys running around spamming moves.
I don't know kof so I wasn't that hyped. But any other fighter on that stage melee beats that ass.

DJT winning caught me by surprise, but using Cyrax wasn't surprising.
Lots of MK9 Tourney players use Cyrax, Kung Lao, Kabal and Mileena.
