I'm bored with garbage online, but the waves of DLC coming out keep my interest piqued. I think I'd enjoy the game much more if there was a scene for it nearby (I know I always whine about this and I'm sorry) but alas, living in a swamp/forest in Kentucky isn't the best location to meet people who play fighting games.

lol, I know canadians weren't 100% winter all year around. But I didn't think they reached 95degrees either.
Yeah it seems sweet spots for games are South Florida/ california/ Tristate/ ATLANTA/COLUMBUS GA area/ and other small locations here and there around east cost. Mid west, and areas like kentucky and mississippi tend to lack in "Numbers" for most tournaments I go to for other games. So i guess no surprise it's the same for this. Unless you're willing to drive 4-5 hours for offline friendlies, gonna have to hope u run into someone

The only person who is willing/skilled enough to play against me in person is my ex fiance, who is an absolute beast with Sub-Zero. It's really fun playing against him, but I wish there were some tourneys nearby.

we get snow birds from Canada all the time. Those guys can walk around here in our winter. 40degrees and walk around in shorts.... I'd say you guys get a fair share of snow.
but... like I said with the miss the point post. I admitted I don't know much about canada, so I said perhaps alaska would make a better analogy.

Do you guys get like 80% humidity... Because i promise you that makes it way worse than it just being 95% dry heat. i've been to California and they were just as hot. But it felt nice because it wasn't disgusting humidity heat.
Is your summers usually humidity infested?
Summer here is nothing BUT humidity, lol. I wish we had dry air! We get up to (and sometimes even above) 50 celcius with humidity....it's utterly ridiculous. We also have a lot of smog. It sucks.....
If you go to the prairie provinces, they get the dry air, but, everywhere else gets very uncomfortable heat/humidity.
Anyways, we are straying off topic, this is better kept for Just Talk =)

For your information, I DO have a "life" as you put it....I have a wonderful wife, and 4 beautiful children. (3 step, 1 my own) And as for the sun....I get plenty of that believe you me.
Having a life is not defined by sitting around playing video games all day/every day...I've got plenty to do raising 4 little rugrats.

I was bored two weeks in. Put it down for a little while and just started playing again a few days ago. The whole Skarlet/Kenshi/Rain thing brought me back.

Wow, again, I disagree with you. I am a big Mortal Kombat fan and I am not bored of the game. I still try everyday to get better and better and have fun with it.

I'm not bored at all. I might still get mad and rage hardcore at some unbalanced online fights but I still have a blast playing this game

Disagree again, well kinda. Just because I have fun praticing a game doesn't mean I'm not taking it seriously. I'm taking it really seriously. I'm trying to get a tourny level. Like I said in the other post, I ask DCP for advice now after a fight so I kan get much better.
Gee, what's wrong with having fun? Someone kan have fun while taking the game serious.
And you didn't have to do it with being an ass dude.

Someone who isn't used to Florida weather would DIE down here.
I live in Miami, which is essentially Satan's @$$hole, and aside from some of the southern-most states like Texas, Nevada and Las Vegas, (I may be missing a few) the temperature isn't even comparable.
Not only is it 95 degrees in the summer, but on top of that, the humidity factor is about 85% to 95%, so it feels hotter than Las Vegas and California.
I've been to Las Vegas AND California in the middle of the summer, and both of those places feel like paradise compared to Miami weather, because there's NO humidity.
Dry heat doesn't bother me at all.
We only had about 3 weeks of winter (anything below 60 degrees) last year, if you could even call that winter. ;-)

@Jorge, it's ****ing hot in Texas. It's always 95 or more every day. Not only that but the weather goes bipolar on us. One day it's windy and the next it's hot then it goes to rainy. I hate the hot. I love the kold.

Before anyone makes an accusation about why Vulcan was banned, it had nothing to do with having a different opinion of others and everything to do with:
1. his general attitude, towards Aldo in particular, in which he didn't have to be nasty to him (amongst being rude in general to people in the past so it just all added up. He was spoken to before about his attitude.)
2. Nasty comments he left for the staff to see.
Now let's move on and not stoop to his level. I know you guys are better than that <3 He has 7 days to grow up.

Well, it doesn't matter who they flame, the rules state that flaming is not allowed, period. He had no reason to come in here and be rude to people. Aldo especially did not say anything wrong. He could have been mature about his responses but chose not to be :/
I don't particularly like to ban people, but it's something I have to do when people break rules. He was already spoken to before but I guess he didn't want to listen

I am actually surprised and in shock knowing that a moderator that runs the most popular Mortal Kombat site got bored of it after 2 weeks, and never played it since.
Here, I expected the moderators out of all people, to be die-hard fans of the series, who would play great fighting games like this one for at least months, not a measly 2 weeks. I'm disappointed in you "Jade".
