BattleField 3 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?

I grew sick of cod, but I'm a little tired of all fps's so if I get another game at retail price I'm going to get saints row 3
 
I really regret not buying BC2 because the beta was amazing meaning this time around I'll be getting BF3 along with Mw3. Mw3 will be first in my priorities though because I play it a lot.

Im really getting sick of the fanboys from both sides to be honest. Im sick of watching a video about MW3 and the comments are all filled with idiots saying LOL SAME GAME EVERY YEAR COD SUCK YOU PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS FOR BUYING THIS. And then watching a video about BF3 and seeing LOL BATTLEFIELD SUCKS MW3 WILL SELL MILLIONS OF COPIES THIS GAME SUCKS...

Seriously STFU and play the games you want and dont play the ones you dont. Dont sit there like the keyboard warriors you are and bash the fans of the other game
 
Battlefield 3. MW3 just looks like the same old game. Plus like every CoD there is gonna be something overpowered or annoying. Plus they have it so killstreaks count towards other killstreaks. That was one of my main gripes with MW2 (besides game ending nukes, one man army grenade launchers, chopper gunners, m16's and famas's, bad connections,frequent failed host migrations, frequent lag, spec ops being rehashed missions, etc.)

Battlefield 3 on the other hand looks AMAZING! I loved BC2 and Battlefield 3's graphics blew me away! I like larger scale multiplayer games (Bad Company 2, Battlefield 1943, MAG) so this game will be an absolute buy for me.
 
Wow. Just got around to voting. Surprised how lopsided the vote is. Guess I'll have to rent BF2 and BF3 when it comes out. Also, funny MW3 story. I was inside a gamestop, looking at a 3DS, when this teenager behind me grabs the MW3 disc (it was one of those cases where it shows what the game is and has a little not out yet sign in the bottom corner) and he just stands there for a minute in silence, says "They have MW3", and drops the case in shock, and was shouting for his friend to come here and check it out. I was trying so hard not to laugh.

Are you sure it was a teenager? Because it sounds more like a little kid. lol
 
I couldn't decide, so I pre-ordered both. I got my money's worth from the multiplayer on MW2, so hopefully, MW3 will be better than that. I have less experience with the BF series, but I got very high expectations from BF3.

Yeah I saw the trailers. But I feel like, even with the gigantic space. It just will be so hard and diferent. I don't see how I'll get into it.

I re-spawn, get run over or shot by a vehicle? I don't know. :)
 
For me, Battlefield 3 is a buy, hands down, over MW3. I'm going to likely rent MW3 to see where the campaign went after the cliffhanger ending in MW2, but other than that, I have no interest in it. Battlefield is more my style, plus on PS3 we get Battlefield 1943 for free, so it's $75 worth of games for the price of $60.

That's not to say that MW3 will suck, but it's MP isn't my style and I prefer Battlefield's much more tactical approach to MP. Plus, Jet's look freaking awesome!
 
MW3, ive never been a battlefield fan except for Battlefield 1943(I like world war II FPS's). Plus I am not the one thats going to have to buy it, my brother will most likely get it for christmas. Im getting Assassins Creed Revelations as ACB is my main multiplayer game. But yeah, I always enjoy CoD for its simplistic gameplay, even though BF3 looks alright, It just isnt my type of game
 
MW3. I have a lot of memories with the Call Of Duty series. Plan to make more with this one.

And I also want to finish the story.

If anything, I'm buying BF3, hands down. I just like it more and I think COD is a bit overrated. And I've never seen a repair tool or defibrillator kill in COD xD
 
I just decided my "maybe both" got to a "BF3 only".

I'm planning on getting WWe12 and Resident Evil and COD is out of plants now. MW3 shows a few improvements but still looks a lot like MW2 and I don't really feel it will be that much fun, that mw2 was. (Not saying its bad just saying it will feel the same and I need a break from it XD)
Plus I always prefered Treyarch's CODs (liked WAW and BO more than MW2) and MW games lack zombies which I play more than anything else on COD.

So I'll just play MW3 at my friends for the story and get BF3. I'll let COD rest for a year and see what next year's COD has to offer.

BTW I just saw this on a forum and thought its priceless XD

I chose BF3 over COD because I'm sick of it's MP. COD is a good game but it's MP is broken.
I think Call of Duty should try to find a way to get the players to play the game not camp the **** out of all the game modes. I mean let's play Domination? People just trying to get kills running past the flags never capturing or at least try to. If you get what I mean.
I played very little Battlefield (BC2) but there people actually work in teams and do the objectives. And for who said BF is a "flight simulator", it is a "War simulator" and IMO it does a hell of a job simulating real war. COD on the other side is that Quick FPS we just hop on and try to kill as many as we can as fast as we can. No matter how much COD will evolve it's players break the game (most of them) simply for not playing the game how it should be played.


EDIT: lol I read a novel over here XD (sorry I just wanted to get this off my chest, my real friends are too addicted to COD to listen >_> , maybe somebody here will understand that I still like CoD but it's too similar to the prev. ones and the MP community is chaotic)
