I hope they have the sweetest classic skins and even some classic fatalities with the compatibilty pack it will be entertaining to see how many of you will cut your nose off to spite your face.

Even if the pedophile's compatibility pack included MK2 Mileena and and/or UMK3-style Skarlet costumes, I would not get it.

The problem is that SOME people want to FORCE others get the comp. pack. It's okay to like Freddy and it's okay to not want him in MK, but it's not right to try to FORCE others to get something, or to bully them or whatever for not getting it. People call others selfish without realising they're selfish themselves.

I agree, this could have not been NRS making the final decision, but WB...

Maybe Ed Boon liked the idea, maybe he didn't, but I'm pretty sure they did the best to make him AT LEAST fun to play as, not looking at the fact that he is... Freddy Krueger.

1. go to the Playstation store
2. Search 'Mortal Kombat'
3. Press Mortal kombat Add ons.
4. If freddy is not there, Continue to franticly press O and X until they update the store with him in it.
Buying him Less than 20 minutes after his release.
FAVORITE.HORROR.CHARACTER.EVER.
Best choice for DLC in an age!

No need to overdo , exaggerate reaction about Freddy ..... people act as NRS has raped your childhood and MK loyality .... is not that .....

We need to see that, this look like an exactly WB decision, and so, NRS and Ed just did their job, putting a character that , despite not fitting MK universe, still, will attract and bring casual fans, that, knowing the game better, will become new MK fans ...... Ed is a Freddy fan, so, maybe WB came with stupid ideas for others guest characters, and Ed, saved the day, proposing at least, a violent character that will not be limited , as for example, the stupid DC heroes that could not do a simple fatality ......

WB is the boss, NRS and Ed, the employees, so, it's how the shit works. Pressure and mandatory decisions, someone ask, others do .........

We are acting hypocrite : they ****ed off Shang Tsung fatality, and still, I see people online doing it ..... they put a stupid 2nd fatality for JC, and we still see people using it online ..... we have a historic in MK for weird and funny stupid stuff that don't fit in MK, but, became a tradition, as Friendships and Babalities, so, now with Freddy , 100% cruel and merciless, with gore and violence, we complain about it ..... well, Freddy and Jason were rumored to be in the game for Halloween , Freddy came first, Jason , maybe next, so, somehow, people knew a rumour were being spreaded around, and NRS decided to make it now, so, we all can expect this kind of guest and funny character coming in future ...... it's a matter to learn how to handle this stuff ......
