I was supportive of NRS until today.
Today, they revealed their true face, and, as much as it pains me to write this, I almost hope they join Midway.

Very well spoken, Aldo.

I'm going to get the compatibility pack at first because I want the costumes that come with it, and I want the people who pay to get Freddy to actually be able to use him against me.

Long before this game came out, I made the decision to buy every piece of DLC that came out with it. I'm not too thrilled with Freddy and it's going to take some convincing but I'm sure I'll end up getting him eventually. I was disappointed that it wasn't another MK character, but I'm not freaking out too much about it.

am I one of the only MK Fans who actually Likes Kratos and Freddy Being in the game?
FREDDY.IS.AMAZING!
I have every one of his movies, and just having him in a game, preferably THIS game, is just TOO Much luck!

I think that , somehow, NRS are testing the fans : if they deny , in mass, to buy Freddy or download him, they will know that fans hated the idea, but, could not stand light a simple joke, and maybe this will be a frustrating disapointment for NRS to invest in more DLC ......... maybe they are thinking : "OK, we did 3 characters for the fans, but, they cannot accept a joke character, that, even not fitting MK, is still violent and gruesome enough to fit, at least, the gore and violence the game propose to have ...... so, why not the fans just cannot accept a funny joke, harmless one, just a little ?"

Oh now this is interesting the biggest counter point on this thread calling me out. Tell me do you really think this is worth the attention its getting? It hardly rates having 4 threads 2 maybe but 4 is a little bit excessive. You say I need the STFU but you and some of the others are acting like children.

well I'm still torn about the comp pack.. it's most likely a no for Freddy. if they released Jason then maybe, but that's only cause I found him cooler and he had this mask on etc etc. the downside is, a thread was made reporting that some gaming sites said this is the final DLC? if it is, it's a bad way to close the DLC chapter of mk9. then again if it's the last DLC I sure as hell won't be buying him :P if there's more to come and better things, then MAYBE

You uppity little people can never be satisfied by ANYTHING can you? I feel this is perfectly acceptable and couldn't be more excited to play as freddy! Who gives a shit about shit characters like Tanya or Tremor? Freddy is a perfect DLC. Seriously.

The problem is that SOME people want to FORCE others get the comp. pack. It's okay to like Freddy and it's okay to not want him in MK, but it's not right to try to FORCE others to get something, or to bully them or whatever for not getting it. People call others selfish without realising they're selfish themselves.
