Its going to be a new character. It will be the long lost brother of cyrax named Zulu (From Africa) His playing style will be based around throwing an spear for distance, weilding a blade/knife for close quarters while harnessing a retractable shield on his forearm. This characters design/ fighting stlye is similar to African tribal warrior. He will have a similar move set to nightwolf(manipulating weapons through his energy)

My thoughts on "???"

1) They don't have a character planned yet, just that they want to do one. This is why he is the only ??? spot.

2) They only showed Rain instead of another "???" because they knew the fans (us) would be happy at his inclusion.

3) Its some sort of guest character, which is why they didn't show who it was; they just don't want us to know yet due to everyone's reaction to Kratos.


Personally, I'm hoping for Reiko, as a sort of Playable Shao Khan.

At this point, can be anyone. Only after Rain's DLC release, we will be able to know, since, they (NRS) will start to promote this mysterious character and we gonna discover "who is" ......

Doesn't bother me if could be Tanya, since she appears as cameo in Kahn's Koliseum, but, I'm sure if she is being developed for this game, she will have an updated appearance ......

They could easily swap out her old appearance with the new one they made for this game, I'm sure.

Rain is going to be badass hopefully. Don't really care much at all for the "????" Character.

Looking at Rain's outline, he actually looks like a ninja, and not some purple gay looking fairy.

It's both. NRS just has them as alternate costumes, like with Bi-Han and Kuai Liang. :laugh:
