Cyber Smoke, Motaro, Havik, Fujin, Reiko, Chameleon, and Li Mei.

I hope they continue making more DLC characters, even if it's only just 4 more fighters.

I actually had it explaining my reasons, but my sig got too long :(

Hornebuckle: They started with a new character, so hopefully they continue the trend.

Tanya: Most requested female, and is seen several places in the game.

Reiko: Though I like Havik more, Reiko is stated in game like Kenshi was, at the same time even. It's most likely to be him.

Jason: We all know it's coming, only the delusional think otherwise.
 
Havik definitely, and i didnt see Drahmin in there. I liked his ending in MK DA cause it showed him transforming into himself the warlord or whtever he was, thought his story was deeper cause of that.
 
I voted other because the main char I want to see in MK9 first is Bo'Rai Cho (I just like the guy), but I'd also like to see:
Shujinko, Taven, Reiko, Li Mei, Havik, Frost, and Sareena.
 
Try to keep it as post-UMK3 characters ONLY.
As much as I don't like guest characters I hope that Freddy sells really well, that way there's a possibility for a few of the above mentioned MK DLC characters. :-D

I made the poll based on the most popular overall votes, in various MK forums (TRMK, TYM, IGN and a few others).

I think the only character worth adding is Cyber-Smoke, just for "completion" purposes. Why? We'll eventually get a new MK where all of the other characters will get an important role, specially Fujin, Kai, Reiko and I'm guessing Havik for becoming an ally of Noob Saibot, so there's no need to burn the cartridge in this one!!

EDIT: After some thinking... I think Sareena could be a potentially good DLC char. She was present in a time prior to MK1! and she's just too cool for a non-ninja female character. Just sayin' ;)

Doing the analogy, the next four DLC characters would be:
- Hornbuckle (rumour back from MK2 turning new character such as Skarlet).
- Havik (another most popular character from Deadly Alliance/Deception as Kenshi).
- Tremor (most requested DLC character as Rain).
- Jason (there cannot be Freedy without Jason).

I still believe they are not going to ignore Tremor requests if there's a new wave of DLC characters...

what does hornbuckle mean anyway? I mean the name, i know that its supposed to bethe burning liu kang in the background of mk2, but thats still a silly name

Reiko is actually not too bad, again, as in the other thread, he had some nice designconcepts but got the worst of all in the end... Could be interestung to see him reinvented

However havik and drahmin really need to be in

Anyway...
IDGAF what Boon says. More than tens-of-thousands of his fans want Tremor. Despite him not liking Tremor for whatever God-awful reason, he would sell. He has so much potential. So many people would by Tremor in a heart-beat.

I voted for...
Hotaru: Only cool character from Seido. He has so much potential as character. They could make him very interesting. Gameplay mechanics and otherwise..
Havik: This guys honestly tops out any other character in MK when it comes to pure insanity. What's not love?
Fujin: Again, potential.
Reiko: I could see him having an extraordinary ending for the arcade. Supplants Shao Kahn; afterall, that's kinda his goal(from what I gathered).
Tanya: I voted for her because a lot of you guys like her. I see her as a very good selling point. Large fan base. More money for NRS=Better Budget=Better Quality Game(In theory)
Cyber-Smoke: I like Human Smoke better, but Cyber-Smoke has been in more games and has made his place by carving out a nice place for himself with a very entertaining play-style.
 
I voted for Cyber-Smoke, Reiko, and Havik.

Cyber Smoke- needs to be in the as a costume or a character because he was the first MK3 character that needed a UKK
Reiko- I picked because they need one of the 4 or 5 MK4 exclusive characters and I like Fujin, but wind just isnt that scary to me
Havik- Already in the story, need an MK6 exclusive character, Havik just looks amazing

I didn't vote for...because...

Hotaru- absolutely love his moves and 2nd outfit, but those flags need to never return, plus Havik is much more likely than Hotaru, like 25 times lol
Chameleon- because I'm not settling with the fake crappy moves list, i want MKT Chameleon, no ruining stuff like armageddon
Fujin- I don't know why I didn't because I do like him and he really does need a return, guarenteed DLC/MK10 spot tho
Khameleon/Tanya- just really don't care about girl characters
Frost- She's worthy but we already have 2 Sub-Zero's so...ya know

I'm glad Tremor isn't/won't be in any games because he's not worthy of the 8th ninja spot (in my opinion)

I guess overall my top 10 DLC requests out of EVERYONE in order would go:

Shinnok, Cyber-Smoke, Havik, Fujin, Sareena, Reiko, Hotaru, Kai, Chameleon, Mavado
