Ideas for MK11

KAF was really bad. if they brought it back people would be making green Scorpions or yellow Sub-Zeros and so on and picking them online. The online players would throw a fit over it.

I hope they never bring create a fighter back. They really didn't give you enough clothing options, and I think there were gender specific outfits which is kinda lame to be honest. Items should be open to both genders, even if there's like sport bras and such haha. WWE's create a wrestler is by far the best character creation I've ever played with just because of the amount of items you have to play with.

Not to mention, you also didn't have enough original moves to play with. You have like a projectile with a different effect and the rest is just moves from other fighters. That's not really creative enough.

I think they should just leave that mode out of this series, in my opinion, and put it towards a mini game. I would like to see Puzzle Kombat return.

Kreate-a-Fighter is a dumpster fire that should never be spoken of. It was the whole reason we had Kreate-a-Fatality, which was even worse.

Here's my picks for the MK 11 cast

Onaga: unlockable boss
Blaze: playable mini boss
Havik
Scorpion/hanzo
Noob saibot
Sub zero
Smoke/enenra
Cassie
Shujinko
Triborg
Tremor
Rain
Meat
Raiden
Skarlet
Takeda
Ermac
Sheeva
Baraka
Frost
Custom character

I feel like I may need to explain some choices here,
Meat: I really like meats idea, and I think a redisign might make him really cool.
Triborg: I realise that at this point he isn't out yet, but I feel like him and frost (who didn't exactly have good relations with sub zero in mkx) teaming up to make a new Lin kui could be a great way to continue the sub zero plot line, along with noob of course.

Story mode will be accompanied by a (non-cannon) revamped konquest mode, where a custom character is banished to the netherrealm, where they meet the head of havik. The custom character uses a variety of moves from other fighters, similar to shujinko in deception, these moves are gained from defeating characters in konquest mode. Npcs will appear as well, similarly to mkx, where they have the same move set as the past game. The story revolves around trying to collect the other kamidogu (in the comics they appeared as daggers, in the krypt, the netherrealm kamidogu was its deception counterpart) in order to restore havik back to normal, or to seal Onaga away for good, depending on your character's allegiance.

The factions system will return, allowing you to join multiple factions of the same alignment (eg: Lin kui and special forces, black dragon and the brotherhood of shadow, but no mix between good and evil). You can expand the influence of a faction by doing side quests, you can rank up in these factions to gain more abilities or outfits, at the end of the game, once all kamidogu are collected, you are presented with a choice, do what you intended to do or release onaga. Onaga is the 'bad ending'. Once you have maximised your reputation in a faction, you can initiate mortal kombat with a realm, if you win, the realms are fused. More factions will be included, such as chaos realm and outworld, factions can also form allegiances or destroy each other.

The customisation allows for any race (tarkatan, shokan, saurian, etc), if it's a revenant, gender, build and other race specific details.

The arcade mode returns as always, with a cutscene before the final boss, showing reptile getting turned into onaga.
Tag team mode and test your luck return.

The krypt is now realm spanning, allowing you to explore realms as your kustom character, the krypt changes depending on who's in control of where. You will need to get the dagger kamidogu in order to unlock onaga's tomb, where you can buy onaga as a character, his stage, and other bonus items, such as classic skins and stages.

You can unlock revenant costumes for characters in the neatherrealm, using the revenant pit in quan-chi's fortress.

A bit ambitious yes, but it's just my wish list.

Since there's a few who'd like to see Frost return (Happy to see that too), there's one thing that bothers me about her.

If Frost is to ever return, I'd like to know what in the world went on to whoever wrote her for this current timeline.

We first see her being an underground fighter who nearly kicks Cassie's ass for good. Then we don't see her until the very last few comics where she gets thrown by Sub-Zero when she tries to talk to him. Explaining that Raiden sent her and a bunch of others for a tournament. Which, I thought was a cool thing to see.

Come towards the actual game, during Scorpion's chapter, she disrupts the meeting between him and Sub-Zero and claims that there will be no peace.

But she was not in the Lin Kuei long enough to say who can have peace and who can't. So what, during the time of her training, did Sub-Zero tell her stories about the Shirai Ryu and she's stubborn enough to refuse to make peace with that clan? Her character made no sense, and this is the exact problem I have with the writers giving the lesser characters dumb stories or stories that just will never go anywhere.

Even Ferra/Torr had little sense to their purpose in X's story other than just a quick time for Kung Jin to toy around with.

It'd really be nice to have the woman in Jade's ending actually be Ashrah's sword, Datusha in human form (kind of like the sword Soul Calibur as Elysium). I mean the sword had Ashrah manipulated in the previous timeline, making her think that killing the vampires would be for a good cause and in Jade's ending the woman possess Jade. I can strongly see that Datusha is the MASTERMIND and I'd rather have Datusha control characters than Delia because Delia is more on the good side and good characters usually DON'T possess innocent lives.

KAF was really bad. if they brought it back people would be making green Scorpions or yellow Sub-Zeros and so on and picking them online. The online players would throw a fit over it.

That's why KAF would have its own online mode. Keep it separate. A fun mode not to be taken as seriously as the other online modes.

My biggest hope for MK11 is to finally have the One Being as the ultimate enemy. What MKX's story should have been, with every realm working together to avoid oblivion.

Plot should be about Raiden's transformation corrupting his visions. A nod to Damashi and Shujinko, Raiden essentially guides himself to retrieving all of the Kamidogu (Fragments of the One Being's consciousness) and bringing them to the Elder Gods. When they realize what has happened, it's too late. With so much of the One Being's consciousness in one area, his influence is too strong and he's able to seize control of them. Much like the speculated control he had over Shao Kahn and Shinnok. Each god then sets out to every realm in order to destroy it's respective Jinsei, crippling the realm's fabric allowing the Being to consume it. Totally making shit up btw if you haven't noticed, it's just what I want to happen.

Each Elder God is a complete force of destruction. Razing the realms as they make their way to the heart of existence. This allows no particular "side" to be represented. Reptile, Cassie, Quan Chi, Havik and Kotal will all be fighting side by side (so to speak) as they use everything in them to stop this. Eventually they repel the gods as much as they can, when the Elders reveal their final ace. The One Being himself, using Shao Kahn's confiscated body as his vassal.

Boom, top tier story. Let it happen. Cool twist would be if Quan Chi was actually helping to resurrect everyone who dies to keep the armies plentiful. Gods find out about this and end up destroying the Netherrealm's Jinsei. Making it so that for the first time in MK, dying means actual death.

I wouldn't mind this, AT ALL, but I know a ton of people would cry, b****, and moan if popular characters like Kitana, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang died again and never came back.
Hell, even if some other favorites were to be considered perma-deathed (like Baraka and Human Smoke for example) people would moan and complain like there's no tomorrow.

I mean, look at the shit-storm that occurred when the MKX roster speculation was going around and people were saying that they didn't want Kitana or Kung Lao on the roster, or that they preferred for them to stay dead.
People like dp spandisk were going bat-shit crazy and angry, flaming, hurling personal insults and calling others names because others didn't agree with their favorite characters being in.
It's as if someone kicked their puppies, killed their grandma, or pissed in their Cheerios.

it would be just as interesting if in some of the MKX arcade endings (Kotal Khan's Scorpion's Raiden's, Ermac's) actually predate it as the first arc to the story before shit really hits the fan

also one cool idea i have is if the One Being ended having a mortal "Vessel" of sorts so he can be even more involved in the plot slowly manipulating everything around him while hiding in plain site who this vessel could be? who knows could be a returning or a completely new character

I'd want an Edenian Faction for MK11.

Faction Kill 1: Head-A-Rang - Jade's Razorang decapitates the victim.

Faction Kill 2: Face-Off - Kitana's Fan slices the opponent's face off.

Faction Kill 3: Boomerang Fury - First, Jade's Razorang is tossed and slices off one arm. Next, the blade returns and slices off the other arm. Then, the Razorang is tossed again and impales the victim's forehead.

Faction Kill 4: Edenian Execution - Two fans are tossed at the victim and impale the victim while the fans are open. One fan is impaled on the groin and the other fan is impaled on the chest. Then, a Razorang is tossed and impaled at the loser's forehead. All weapons impaled on the body form a line in the mid section of the enemy.

Faction Kill 5: Flying Blades - First, Jade's Razorang slices one arm of the opponent off. Next, the Razorang returns and slices the other arm off. Then both of Kitana's fans are tossed with one slicing the waist and the other slicing the neck, decapitating the loser and cutting the loser horizontally in half at the same time.

I hate the idea of One Being being a boss. The One Being is made to be the ultimate supreme force in the Universe and given how MK loves to job fighters, I don't want to see a normal human beat the One Being. Having a nigh omnipotent boss characters sounds like a bad idea to me.

Instead of the traditional 4 character DLC season pass. I wonder if they could just do a slightly delayed just 1 big 10 character pack like 8 months later? With regular alternate costumes coming in monthly. sold as 1 entire package like an expansion pack, so people buying it will already know what they are getting into.

My thought is the final fight would be an endurance round. One Being vs (Almost) the whole roster. Each character lost triggers a cutscene of them getting ragdolled against a wall or something, just a buffer to load the next fighter.

Remember the story of Armageddon? The Kombatants had grown so powerful that they were on the brink of destroying the realms. So, for me, it's an exciting idea that they would be fighting what is essentially "the realms" themselves. It would mirror the pace of Deception or MK9's story. Where everything seems bleak and the heroes are rarely, if ever, at an advantage.

I made a video telling the story I'd like to see in MKXI.
Some of your ideas, expressed so far on this thread, like death being permanent or not, the Elder Gods being involved, are very important in my outline.

I think it's quite fun, but you have to be a crazy Mortal Kombat fan (like me) to spend an hour and 20 minutes watching it!

With music it's at this link:

For those in Germany or even the US, youtube might block it, so this is the silent version, though not as entertaining:

Have fun!

this is what mk11 should have to be better than MKX:
1-a projectile collision system to improve gameplay.
2- tag team mode.
3- stage fatalities
4- brutalities should come back
5- variation system (but only two per character)
6- Scorpion
7- Sub-Zero
8- New Characters(two or three are more than enough)
9- No guest characters (or at least no horror characters, is stupid to see how weakling like retarded machete zombie and pedoiphile krueger can hurt people who fight against gods)
10- a better story.
11- modernized klassic fatalities.
