360 should be somewhere in preferences and you set voice volume. Set it to 0. On Xbox One you go to settings, Privacy & Online Safety, Custom, Communicate with voice and text (Everybody, Friends, Block).

You know what's funny? I have used Scorpion as my main since standing in the arcades playing MK1. Now I'm sick of him and because of that, I'm sick of everyone else using him.

As a matter of fact, I'll go as far to say that they need to just either drop him or reinvent him for future MK games. Same thing with Raiden. Screw it, reinvent the entire cast.

Not really. They could revive some of the characters from the DA era. I mean the entire roster is huge. I get they will never get rid of the mainstays but why not take a chance and do an overhaul? Or, make Scorpion and Sub Zero unlockable characters? I don't know. I guess I'm just tired of Scorpion. I should change my avatar or something.

The Online community is garbage. Stick to playing with your friends or people from MK sites, it's a much more enjoyable experience.

At least you guys have had matches... I've only had twenty matches while online, and the last few times I've tried to play online, no one wanted to accept my challenge or they had really poor reception.

(I refuse to play anyone that doesn't show green bars)

This so much...people still think their online wins matter. My advice is only play people who are on your friends list and make sure that both of you have a good connection. Stay away from random players with bad pings. Most of the online community is people on wifi and not wired so even if the Ping is green you will still get lag spikes. I think a lot of the problems come from most people jumping into any match without any regard of the person they are fighting. If their win ratio is something like 3000wins and 50 loses chances are you dealing with someone on a crappy connection IMO,
