Perhaps a green outfit is going too far but I guess they could still go with the glaive instead of fans thing though.

Yeah, they could. But I'm saying that they probably didn't want to take a chance on Kitana not having her fans. Even just in one variation. They are too engraved in her identity. It would be like taking away Baraka's blades.

That's true but it's just a variation, it's not like removing the fans entirely, it would just be on her Jade version.

Same thing with Cassie, it looked like somewhere between her reveal and the recent stream she had "work done" as well. Good for me, because I like big boobies.

The only difference I see is that her boobs are being pushed closer together by her clothing in one outfit than the other.

There's a change of lighting on the Royal Storm picture which makes it look like she's got a bigger boobs. Look at your sig, for example. The last picture has a bit brighter light on the left side of her right boob.

Moveset does not change enough from variation to variation to support this. Taking away Kitana's fans would be a significant change in moveset.
