Plus, I love how when I say I want characters like Frost, Mavado, Nitara and such in the game I get flamed to hell for it. I guess its only ignorant, selfish and short sighted when its one of the almighty, all important MK9 characters you talk bad about
At this point, there is only one MK9 character that I want to see and that is Mileena.

And to be fair, its not like the slight disappointment now cant be reversed once the whole picture is revealed. Maybe something in the story will be so awesome that all so-so people like us will be like HOLY SHIT, It totally makes sense why he is in now.

Probably a glitch. They said in the beginning that it was a work in progress version of the game.

True, but i will not lie I do like how they made different sizes. The character screen for one shows D'vorah and sub zero and she is a good 5 inches shorter and you see sub-zero looking down towards her. Of course in game he is only maybe a couple over her cause his stance sits low, but when they walk in you can see it. In mk 9 you had everyone 7 foot tall and all the women had 8in heels.

I did actually, Kitana also because I feel it cheapens the story of MK9 cause they died. I know characters never die in MK but at this point its old and is just lazy storytelling. MK9 was really the first time the story was taken that seriously so I was hoping the dead characters would sit out MKX.
Ermac on the other hand, I've never been a fan of. I understand he does have fans but you cannot tell me that he is as important or popular as characters like Scorpion, Sub Zero or even Kung Lao and Kitana. That is why I think he is a waste.

He wasn't very important in MK9 but I don't know what they're plannkng for MKX. And I'm not going to assume the story won't be fresh just because it has some MK9 characters.. I'm just gonna wait until they show all the characters and then play the story. I doubt there won't be anymore new characters though. Only person left really is Mileena.

Disappointed there was no Reptile. Also I believe that is Ermac's alternate costume, they hinted it that during the stream as in saying they have shown off an alternate. Not saying who but Ermac's alternate resembles his MK9 alternate so that is where I am getting that theory.

I really doubt that when they're this far along in development. That's probably just their gameplan for the next stream, Didn't wanna show everything today. So they gave us a taste of some new characters.

They said in either November, or December the game was going the factory for distribution, the game has probably been done for a few weeks, they haven't showed the final build, this gives them time 2 make DLC.
Im not sure if anyone can remember they said this, I do remember I read it somewhere, MKX is probably going to have a TON of DLC characters which im fine with.

You don't know that Mileena is the only MK9 character left for MKX, for sure, though.
There are also other popular MK9 characters like Baraka, Smoke, Kabal, Cyrax, Sektor, Shang Tsung, Jax, Noob Saibot, Jade and Nightwolf, so I can easily see where it can get worrisome for those of us that want to see new MKX characters or MK4 thru MKD debut characters, but instead we see so many MK9 characters in MKX, and we're like "Ugh, who's next from MK9?"

Out of every hint we had on the plot, what has me most interested is the Outworld fight for power after Shao Kahn's defeat. I wouldn't mind a whole game being based on that, with Earthrealm and Netherrealm trying to interfere and back one of the sides. In an Outworld civil war there are a number of characters that need to be present, that's Mileena, Reiko, Goro and Baraka, hell yes.
Motaro should be in this too, but unfortunately his four legs make it too troublesome to include him.
