here is my current to do list. alan wake, gears 3, battlefield 3, saints row 3, mafia 2, split second, dirt 3 and earth defense force. for someone who doesn't come across money often, i sure do have a lot of new games to play. i'm kind of overwhelmed, i don't know which one to play through first. **** it, i'm going to take a nap.
 
Thinking about getting Rage. Heard it was amazing. Anywho I'm working on my Multiplayer in Revelations and playing some Tekken 6 in the meantime. Also got KOF XIII on the top of my Gamefly GameQ

As for me, I finally starting the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Can't wait.
 
im still playing mgs hd collection. lol all these years since mgs3 was out and i didn't know you could kill the end waaay before you usually kill him. does anyone know why they didnt include mgs1 in the collection?? im still debating wether im even gunna play peace walker.

It's an amazing game! People who discount it solely because they may think it's just a puzzle game need to rethink their opinion. Such a multi-dimensional, multi-faceted game. The puzzles are challenging, but the story and characters are super-immersive, and the art is top notch. It's hard to pull away from! I spent a lot of yesterday playing it (and then Star Ocean: The Last Hope ~International~). Can't wait to get all the endings for Catherine though, I hear there are some real twists.

I've got to say though, even though I used her in my current avatar/sig set, I kind of hate Katherine. She's gorgeous and whatnot as far as characters go, but god damn is she a b!tch with a capital 'B'. What a nag. If I acted like that, I'd pretty much deserve whatever I had coming to me, lol.

Catherine is definitely one game I will replay. At first I was honest and used my own morals (common sense), and got the good ending. Next time I will contrast and pick the obvious bad ones. I will have to say I am not a pervert this time! Haha.

That is what I loved about it, that pie graph was def unique and was interesting to see how others answered. Plus the texting, and hanging out at the bar getting drunk. The story slowly unfolded, and I just could not put it down, I was immersed into a world and that is what a great game is supposed to do. I could not beat that Rapunzel arcade game in the bar :( but I drank plenty of Sake to make up for that. The endings, the confessionals, the remixed classical music, mind bending puzzles and subtle humor, all of that, made my GOTY list. Even beat Portal 2 in my book, and I love, love, love Portal.

Katherine was kinda a *****, if I was Vincent I would have totally just nailed Catherine and left the other.

Yeah, I've got to agree with you. I'm only to night 4 so far (I've got so many games to play!), and I'm totally hooked on the game. Rapunzel is wiiiicked hard. I'm determined to beat it though. It's awesome that it even has mini-games like that. I also hear you can drunk-text people in certain circumstances. :laugh:

Yeah, Katherine bugs me (though I wouldn't mind cosplaying her, and have seen a good one online), she's a monster control freak. It's actually a little disturbing to hear Laura Bailey as Catherine though, knowing some of her other roles. Oh, and Catherine's voice actress is married to Jonny Ariga (Vincent's high school friend) in real life :laugh:. A LOT of familiar voices in this game, a couple of whom I've met/talk to sometimes. Very well done game overall.

Anyone know if the soundtrack is available in the US?

Anyhow..... Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a game I should have gotten long ago. What a fun RPG, and the first in which I don't utterly hate the main character in a good 10 years (save Lightning in FFXIII, she was okay. She was a combat *****, my sort of gal). But as far as male leads, Edge Maverick is alright, even though he needs to man up and bone his childhood friend already. :P
